Beautiful bunnies you have ❤ im new to your channel question why do the flip them over im just curious love your channel your very good bunny mom to those bunnies you have
Ty so much!! The judges flip them over to check the nail color and sex. Certain breeds have to have certain nail colors or they can be disqualified. For example, a blue New Zealand, cannot have a white nail, they have to be blue nails. Ty so much for watching!! I appreciate it!!
Did you know the bottoms of the things you put the bunnies in actually hurt their feet? If you're gonna do bunny shows please do more research on bunnies before doing things like this. Bunnies are NOT OBJECTS they are living, breathing creatures like us. They can feel pain like us. So be more mindful about them. And also be more gentle with their ears. Their ears are sensitive. Again bunnies are NOT OBJECTS or toys. Just because you cant feel the pain they're feeling does not mean be less gentle to them.
I do not think my buns are objects. What a rude thing to say. I ❤️ every single one of my buns. They are very well taken care of. Please do your research on cages without hardware cloth bottoms. You would have very sick rabbits. The judges are not hurting the buns ears when they flip them over like that. If they were, the rabbit would let you know. Have you ever heard a rabbit scream? There is nothing inhumane about showing rabbits. Please find something else fight your cause over.
Absolutely agreed with Anna. That handling is horrible to look at... Pushing them roughly into a unnatural position and then bend their ears like that? Big red flag there, man.
@@caseyscarrotpatch Rabbits don't really scream when they are hurt they also show signs of the depression and discomfort by sitting or laying in one spot of their cage. Bunnies ears cannot be bent like that that hurts them. And the way you guys handled them was not gentle at all you just tossed them around like objects. Yes you may not think your bunnies are objects but you are handling them like they are. Please do more research on how to handle them more gently. And wire bottom cages are not good for their feet. Just because their feet are fluffy doesn't mean the fluffiness of their feet protect their feet from being hurt or damaged well. Them being on wired bottoms is like you standing on one of those wired bottoms for hours. Wouldn't your feet hurt and indented by that material after a while? Well that same exact thing happens to them.
Please watch some of my other videos, you will see that my buns survive the trauma of the judges handing them just fine. Sarcasm, They are very happy healthy buns.
They only stay in this temporarily due to the summer heat. I let them outside to run around as much as possible. They will be going back outside in a 4 foot long hutch once the heat wave breaks. I did sell one of the babies, so there are only 2 in the cage. However, they will be outside ASAP. I appreciate your concern. ❤️
hey, i was thinking of doing this pretty soon.. do you have any more recent or any other video/pictures when it's a little older and grown out?if so, that would be great! thank you!!
All the babies found new homes. I don't have any recent pictures. Please be careful. Remember, the doe can die having large babies. Thankfully, this didn't happen in this situation. But you will always want your doe to be bigger than the buck, or the same size.
Everyones buns get extra care this time of year, ours are inside too til the heat break. Cocoa beans and those cups are adorable! Great idea for a toy!
I absolutely do. He's only in this cage temporarily because of the heat wave. He can't be outside in this heat with his full coat on. When it's cooler in the mornings, I take him outside to the bun run so he can run around as long as possible until it gets too hot. Then I bring him in. I just want to keep him safe during the heat. He has a huge hutch outside. And goes in the bun run all the time. But when it is super hot out, I need to keep him safe inside until the heat breaks. I think his new toy will help occupy his time. ❤️
@@caseyscarrotpatch Hope he's suffering the heat ok. Watch his breathing and you can put some cool water bottles ice packs in a towel for him to lay against . that helps to keep their stress level down and dehydration in check. I add more greens in the hot weather as well. He sure is a cute little bun. All the best.
Have you seen the sea bunny? Its a kind of sea slug with feathery antennae that look like rabbit ears. These are the exact bunnies that God would have modeled it after
You can just put in all your wet ingredients first then dry right into the bread maker and set it on Cake or what's similar to 'kneading' for 20 mins then remove the paddle from the batter and 'bake' it for 45 to 1 hour. Let sit in pan for 45 mins then remove from pan.
