Unfortunately they will not as they are designed to work with the Stinger Heigh10 unit. I might check in on this, but I’m not sure if Stinger is working on a new kit that will work with the new JL/JT dash set-up since they completely revamped the dash and radio in them.
I installed this radio with blind spot and front camera and having same issue with my rear camera. The three that I installed work great every time but the back up one I get no signal. It was working when I tested everything before shoving the radio in the dash. Did you wind up finding a fix?
I have not fixed it yet, but looking into it. They’re backup camera should fix it, but with my current tire carrier, I’m trying to see how I can mount the camera in the factory location or if there is another spot without hindering anything else. More to come on that!
I created a short video on here of the quality. I shot it vertically and then RU-vid tried to zoom in and crop most of it out, so I had to rotate my video in order to get full screen again. Hope this works for you!
Mine have such delay when i flip the turn signal they are pretty much useless. I ended up just disabling them on turn signal. Wish i knew if there was a fix to that.
Hit up Tech Support! They’ve always been a huge help when I’ve had issues. It definitely sounds like an issue in the radio module or camera. How long of a delay was it?
@@MoonKnightAdventures it's long enough I've already changed lanes. Goes to black screen for a few seconds. I've seen the issue reported on forums around searching for a fix.
I’d have to double check. I can’t remember if the radio had connections that I tied into or if I had another power/ground that I ran previously to tap into.
For the most part, it does still work. I think it has only disconnected once since then. I did reset by pulling the radio fuse, starting my Jeep, and then reconnected the fuse while it was on. There was an update to the 21’ and newer wranglers with the cameras that cause this issue with the radio. Eventually I’m going to get the Clear Vision Mirror with dash cam and back up camera, which will replace the stock one. I think I explained this on the TikTok channel and never got that video posted here. Hopefully this helps out! Let me know if you have any other questions.
There is an SD Card that can be purchased separately for the GPS. It’s something I’m still considering, but I tend to use Apple CarPlay for my travels.
Brotha. You should’ve done an install video and voiced over it as you did the install. Because watching this while you sit on the couch is like watching paint dry on the wall. Or death by PowerPoint. And that’s not taking shots at you. You just got to find a way to spice it up. Also trying having flash cards. It’s like you explaining one thing and jumping to another. And like the other guy said. Kill the background noise. Practice make perfect.
I will keep that in mind for my future videos! I didn’t do a full install since Stinger has a great install video of their own. The background noise was my daughters tablet. I appreciate the feedback and will work on improving my coming up videos.
My bad. That was my daughter’s tablet going in the background and I didn’t have any other time to record this. I will have better future videos coming up!
Thanks! Most of it was self taught. I took a couple months of gymnastics to help with the basics like handstands and breakdance class to learn the basics of dancing.
