If anyone where to accurately transcribe this as an orchestral piece, finding in an orchestra the exact timbres Latry creates, they would compose one of the great symphonic preludes of their century, they’d be master orchestrators. And all that was just in a bit of improvised music that just fell from Latry’s fingers.

This is like being at the surface of the sun. You see massive convective cells the size of countries bellowing from deep within the great sphere of super heated plasma. Fiery arcs held aloft by powerful magnetic fields bigger than the earth tower high above reaching out into space. The heat and light swirl and gust with overwhelming power and luminosity. At least, this is what comes to my mind when hearing this incredible improvisation.

You can couple the first manual G.C on G.O with the Anches G.O pedal. The I. and the II. manuals are complementary. On G.C you only have reads and mixtures and on G.O you only have foundations. So you can couple G.C on G.O and still have the tutti on the first manual.

Les mêmes accords sont répétés 10 fois...cette impro n'a queue ni tête parce que pas de thème. Heureusement que c'est sur cet instrument... Même un singe pourrait avec son Tutti faire vibrer les voûtes
