I just landed my first "real" ollie today, non rocket! It was easier for me to get the height by standing more towards the middle of the board with my front foot so the tail had more of a snap since I didn't put as much weight on my front foot, if that makes any sense! It did require a lot more balancing on the jumping part tho, landed three acceptable ollies in a row.
