Sofi writes sweet, mischievous Regency romances with witty banter and heart-tugging happily-ever-afters. Born in Vienna, Sofi grew up in Seoul, studied Comparative Literature in Maryland, and lived in Quito for a while. This book has (unexpectedly) turned out to be my favourite book of the series! I quite fell in love with the reformed rake myself! The chemistry between the duke and miss hilversham is ‘sizzling’ and the overall banter witty / hilarious. The two mains felt so perfectly matched and right for each other! All the characters are drawn out so well. I also felt this story touched on more darker and mature themes than any of the other books in the series. But couched within a sense of good humour and light-heartedness. Thanks very much to the author and narrator for their amazing work. Both are so talented! I really enjoyed this book (as well as the rest of the series)! Looking forward to more!

So, I stumbled upon Lucy's story by accident, thought: let's give this a go and totally fell in love with the story. That was yesterday. Now I'm at chapter 29 of Arabella's story and I want to know the ending but I really don't want this book to end! I honestly didn't think I could like her story even more than Lucy's but I do. Got my AirPods on to listen to this book. The story is so amazing I find myself smiling and laughing. I’m at a playground and people are looking at me with concern. They probably think I’m crazy because I’m laughing by myself. Thank you for sharing your fantastic work. I’ve listened to all of your stories and can’t wait for more.

9/3/24 This is the fourth book I'm listening to from Sofia laporte! I'm on ch. 3 and loving it so far!! Edit: I finished it in a day! (Ik it's only 4 hours but I had stuff to do so it took me a day😔) I LOVE IT!!! No matter how many times she ran away from him, he was willing to wait for her!!
