Can you explain to us every single detail about shipping and how am I going to get paid. PLEASE I have been looking for a tutorial and I can't. Like how do I send the package and is the courier gonna know where to send it. And how will get my money and how I will charge the shipping.
This!!! I bought mock ups but couldn't figure out the right template in Canva! Would be nice when you drop $120 for a whole shop that they include a how to video.... but thanks for this content ❤❤❤❤
This was a great video, until you got to chase... CHASE is a thief and their fees are outrageous. They will charge you a $34 fee, even for a $2 charge, if it puts you over and will NOT refund it. AVOID CHASE!! It's not a good option.
I received an order today and a customs charge for 20 when the item I ordered was only 18 euro customs said the seller declared the item at 50 euro in value so with the cost of the item then postage and taxes and customs I ended up paying 70 euro for an item worth 18 I'm so mad, another point there are sellers on there selling jewellery from shien I mean there making a killing on selling stuff worth less than 2 euro for 30, I actually contacted the sellers and the. Bocked me Etsy don't care that people are been ripped off
I want to sell t-shirts and clothing apparel on etsy using a company name. I'm starting from scratch. Do I need an LLC, DBA or none of the above to do so? I live in the Sacramento County in CA. And if so, can I use my personal home address and cell phone for selling tshirts on etsy?
Hi, I'm not a lawyer so I can't give legal advice. But I can tell you how I understand it. To get started on Etsy you do not need an LLC or a DBA if you are selling as yourself (It doesn't matter what you name your Etsy shop). You're considered a sole proprietor. After you get started and start making money you can start putting a better structure in place. An LLC just protects your personal assets from your business. It's not required. I don't recommend using your home address or cell phone for you business because it is public to the world. Your shipping labels have to have a return address, but you don't want everyone knowing where you live. It's not safe. Grab a PO Box and get a free google voice number to use as your business phone number. Finally, research what you need to do to run a business in your county. Its not something that you need to do before you set up your shop but once you know you are not treating Etsy like a hobby and it is a business get those things done too.
Printify says I have to have both shopify and etsy stores listed in printify. I copied everything from shopify to etsy but on printify they all show unpublished under my etsy store and printify is saying it must show published. Won't that duplicate and charge me twice?
Setting up Novo took way longer than I expected. So much information. 🙄 Connecting Novo to my new PayPal Business account was fine, as well as my existing personal credit union account. My Novo account is still under review, like Relay's business checking account application. Integrating PayPal, Square, Etsy, Amazon, etc. to Novo proves rather challenging than I expected. 😒 So far, Bluevine and Relay are the easiest business checking accounts to apply for and set up.
👋 Thank you for sharing your helpful educational content. 🤝 I've tried both Relay and Bluevine. I'm still waiting for Relay's "Pending Review" business checking account application. Now, Bluevine, on the other hand, processed my application after connecting my eligible Standard Business Checking account to my existing external individual checking account via PLAID. This was done to avoid "waiting to establish history with us..." The connection went smoothly. One thing that I noticed is the soft inquiry warning ⚠️ which doesn't affect my credit score. The Bluevine debit card is ordered and will be shipped out soon. Money transfer is available in 1-4 business days, and check deposit is available in 0-7 business days. Cash deposits can be made at local ATMs, retail stores such as Dollar Tree, Dollar General, CVS Pharmacy, Sunoco Gas Station, and Stop & Shop Supermarket. The list goes on.
I am a weaver and considering an Etsy shop to sell one of a kind handwoven pieces. These are time-consuming and expensive to produce. If I don't get the item back, or it is damaged or worn by the buyer who then wants a refund, I'm out all my time and money. While I understand offering refunds for some products, I am hesitant to offer them for this kind of work. I usually can't make more of the same item - once that warp is off the loom, I would need to find enough of the same yarn in the right colors and set everything up again. This can take a couple of days worth of work, depending on the complexity. The idea of shipping off a piece worth $180 or more, only to have someone change their mind worries me, but so does having people rating my shop low because I don't offer returns. I'm not mass producing goods - it's all handmade by me.
You are an angel!!! Thank you! I finally feel like I can't start. if you had any idea how much of a godsent you were for me. I’m at the end of my rope and I didn’t see any light at the end of the tunnel. I’m not trying to get rich. I’m just trying to make enough money to survive and feed my autistic son. I promise you this I will do everything in my power to pay this forward like you have, so many others want to act like they’re helping and they give you just enough information and then they sell you a course. In my mind that tells me they’re not really making money off of Etsy. They’re making money off of selling the course. God bless you.
