Honestly just wait until 2026 for ROG Ally ZX7 Infinite with 32GB of RAM and XYA 4 Extreme processor and a 4TB SSD 9000MHZ and Steam Deck UHD 4K screen with 24GB of RAM and 2TB SSD 7500MHZ. Much more worth it 🤡
Lol after getting the M2 after the M1 i must say i am not falling for the marketing no longer, i might even sell up and go back to the m1 just because.
The Steam Deck OLED display is nice and all but the missing VRR and low resolution compared to the Ally is a HUGE trade-off. VRR is a critical feature since they are all power starved and frames are heavily fluctuating. The Non-VRR display are horrible to look at. I know because I have the Steamdeck LCD 512GB matte display and the Lenovo Legion Go. They both lack VRR and it shows in many games...But the 7 inch display of the Ally is also a bit too small.
What I love about the detailed notifications is the ability to directly reply to a message ON the notification without disrupting whatever I’m doing on the phone.
I have a iPhone XR and I really want a s24u (my first android device) but I’m afraid that the people around me will not be happy censoring that my uncles are software engineers with Apple ecosystem and I will be the only one in the family with an android device. I don’t if they will decline my interests in the phone.
Did you know it's not compatible with a Mac? I didn't. I just bought one, only to find out that it is not supported with iOS. Bummer. The monitor goes black every few minutes for a few seconds!
Ally only pro is the power but it’s not that powerful not to be obsolete in a « close » future. Valve nailed it with its focus on creating an actual handled which can also be used as a PC. Maybe if you do not have a gaming PC but it’s not that powerful I’d rather purchase a laptop than an Ally. Other things : - no trackpad (especially under Windows) - no OLED - buttons feel cheap Huge pass for me. And honestly I do not trust Asus to support the Ally line on the long run.
bro we all gotta group up and do something about the SOLDERED SSDs on apple products. It's an abomination. the SSD is like Tires or Transmission on a car. You should be able to change it. If your SSD dies you can't even boot of an external drive... it's basically bricked if your SSD dies..Do you realize? Do you actually realize?
