I had the same thing, I know how to remove it you buy a small seraingue you buy Meguiar's G7516F product you but in the seraingue and you inject all along the led strip everything leaves in 5 min and it never comes back Never

Unrelated to the color of the interior, but how are you liking that HUD Screen? I've been looking at that specific one since it appears to look the closest to the OEM design & looks like it runs pretty smooth and integrated. Any complaints on functionality and whatnot?

@falsedragon33 Specs are one thing but I just explained that's it's as bright as the tesla screen and am having no issues with brightness. And I actually have the screen.

nice video. I see on the order page that you can't get the magnetic mount with LHD. Can you just order the RHD to get that? would the install be the same? Thanks
Hi, LHD comes with a base bracket by default. If you want a magnetic bracket, you can add a note when place order and we will send you a magnetic bracket for free. You can also use other styles of magnetic brackets as long as the circle size is suitable. The installation method is the same. Thanks!

I don't know that this is in use here, but there's a new speed detection system coming out that uses vision only with some kind of AI, and it makes it undetectable.
Most likely a low power K band sign and or out of tune. In addition, what are your alert settings, as some detectors will ignore a signal under certain speeds. Is your Uniden K band even turned on? 100% sure that’s not a Ka band sign. Probably an out of tune K band sign not running with specs. Doesn’t matter became it’s not a law enforcement sign anyway.
It still won't back out of the garage!? I don't have FSD/Summon in my new '24 M3P and I haven't tried to back it out for a long time with my previous '18 M3...
There's a good thread if you search Google with: R3 doesn't detect speed sign. It might be Quiet Ride is On or the sign may be outside of the limits of hertz the detector can pick up.
The reason you are getting no or short range alerts is because the Uniden is trying to filter the speed sign out. Also the solar powered ones can especially vary with the alert range because of the variance in the charge in the batteries. Speed signs can be either K or Ka. Does your radar detector have GPS? If it does it has probably marked that location as a nuisance and filters it out so you're not annoyed.
Even when it filters annoyances out, it will do a quick alert and then say it is filtered out. And I'm not sure it does that automatically and my detector has Never given me an alert from this sign.
Yes, of course, but that does not change the fact that these signs are able to detect my speed using some type of radar that my new radar detector is not detecting. This radar detector does all of the bands, laser and even red light cameras, although red light cam detections is not great.
Those signs are not typically lidar, but there are a bunch of different bands that they operate on. Highly likely that your detector is either not capable of detection on that frequency, or the detection has been turned off. Police typically use lidar guns, Requiring precise aiming at the target vehicle, hence my suggestion that this sign is not lidar equipped. Many new detectors don’t have the capability to detect the frequencies that were used by the police radars of yesteryear.
Probably an x band signal that the detector is filtering out automatically. I have a passport 9500ci and it automatically filters some x band to, it will also automatically save the location in gps data if I hit mute 3 times on the same signal. The auto filter the reason you dont get x band notifications when someone is using their microwave or get a K band when passing SOME automatic store doors. Tho not perfect youll still get false positives. I got a rear lazer warning from the sun one morning, put the fear of god into that day 😂
Most likely the radar antenna that is built into the sign is probably out of tune. So most likely falls out of the range that the detector is looking for. Very common.
So much group think. It's popular to bash removing the stalks so now people who have never even tried the buttons have strong opinions about it. 🙄 The buttons work fine..... even in roundabouts. We can adapt.
So fun fact. Lidar works to fast for detection systems to pick up, (speed of light darrrr) Get a lidar scrambler. Perfectly legal and not fcc regulated, unlike a radar scrambler which would have a swat team beating down your door 5 hours later.
I think it's better to mount it as high as possible for detection and it seems a little more clunky on top of the screen. But yeah, much easier on top of the screen.
