I hate to be the bearer of bad news... but the orcas strategy here was to exhaust the seal to the point where he would be easy prey... and from the footage at the end of the clip, I think they succeeded. I do feel sorry for the seal though. It put up a good fight.
Deerhoof is really just too good. I feel pretty confident saying they're my current favorite band. This has always been one of my favorites, and it's usually the song I show to people when introducing them to the band
