@Sirbobomb6783 i've been working on tryin to write and animate a fanmade sequel for the past year, following what we know of the canceled sequel, searched and never found some of those concept arts; where did you get them? are they legit or fanmade? (im talking about the one involving young silver, and silver selling his blackmarket contreband, and the one of the fight with ironbeard and a few of those involving kate and jim in action) ps: you seem to have forgoten the concept arts of the lagoon nebula and silver's restaurent (the silver fish) i'd love to chat and maybe share some info on it if you want
Aww, this could have cute. Who do you think could have played Kate? At the top of my head I wonder if Joseph Gordon-Levitt's fellow *10 Things I Hate About You* actor, Julia Stiles could have played her. Kate looks like she has a snarky quality to her like Kat did.
personally, im glad a sequel was never made because there’s a high chance it would’ve ruined everything that was good about the first movie. no one wants jim to have a love interest, it’s unnecessary. and i REALLY hope people don’t start hyping up the original movie all over the internet for no reason because then it’s going to get megamind-ed and NO ONE’S gonna be happy treasure planet is too precious, it’s just not worth the risk
When I listen to I'm Still Here, I always envision Jim growing up, traveling the galaxy by ship, meeting a pirate queen, and becoming a father. One who doesn't leave because they already live together on the boat And every year, they visit an aging Sarah
Perhaps Treasure Planet 2 can get a second chance to see the light of day as a comic or graphic novel. With that said, the concept art is amazing. The character at 0:24 looks like Mufasa with a humanoid body.
God bless your soul for posting this we. have not seen any mention of these deletion since the first time was mentioned on Wikipedia back on an early 2000s. Thank you. so much whoever posted this on here. This is awesome and I got to see what he looked like when he was just young about like Jim's aids, the villain. Oh my Oh my God. How do I even describe this? You piece is a garbage. You missed a chance to actually make a good sequel. Come on. We need a sequel. Disney sucks. The animation is needed this days now. Oy. Does anyone agree with me? Thumbs up if Disney needs to do animation. Thumbs up or give me a smile face.
Oh boy i loved this movie. Though sequel necessity is kinda questionable. YES the sequel will be an amazing idea but...considering what Disney is doing with their "products" there are massive chances audience will receive completely different "quality" lol p.s. i doubt Disney will ever look at treasure planet ever again anyway, or we'll get another dumb live action remake nobody asked for
Had this movie ended up happening I really think they should have made Kate a human especially if she was gonna be Jim’s GF at the end of the movie! Something that bugs me about the first treasure planet is that Jim and his mom are the only humans in that film and I don’t understand why?
Who knows what the future may hold. It took us 14 years to get a sequel to the 2004 Incredibles movie. The Disney tv series Gargoyles that began in 1994 and ended in 1997 had to wait until 2022 to get a revival, even though the story left off from Season 2 was continued only through comics. Monsters Inc eventually got a prequel movie and a sequel series. Disney may someday do a Treasure Planet reboot or finally try again for a sequel. We just have to wait and see. Also, when the first Sonic movie was announced, fan response to Sonic's original movie design was strong enough that the creators actually postponed the film to revise Sonic's character appearance, so enough support from fans could be a key role in Treasure Planet finally getting the sequel it deserves. Personally, I believe that this would be a story worth telling. The first movie definitely was.
