Hey, the power switch on my Aula F75 x Epomaker broke. I was wondering can i use the same switch for my keyboard too? It has three modes, wired, Bluetooth and 2.4Ghz Receiver. I cant find any info if the switch would fit my board or not. Please let me knoq.
Is it needed to get a DPDT switch for the 3 way switch? or can a SPDT be used (like the switch in this video)? I see this post suggests a DPDT switch but it seems there is a 50 50 split on which ones are used and one should work and the other shouldnt?
For those engaging in this or other electronics soldering using heat gun, consider isolating everything around the part in question and also plastic elements of the part itself with Kapton tape. It should shield surrounding and vulnerable components from excessive heat. Otherwise, use a welder pen to avoid damaging anything around.

I bought my k8 with the switch broken because the previous owner had tried doing a foam mod and broke the switch. I was able to get it working better than when i got it because of this video! PS: I went through atleast 5 switches because the stem KEPT SNAPPING OFF everytime I tried to put the keyboard together. I found that trimming the stem a bit with a fingernail clipper made it harder to snap off and i was able to get it put together withiut it snapping on me!
Just did this repair yesterday and worked like a charm. TIP TO EVERYONE: if using a heat gun with a smaller nozzle make sure you monitor the plastic slider tab when heating the solder paste. Thankfully I caught it in time, but if I had looked away for even second, I would have melted the black tab off the new switch and been back at square one.
For usual maintenance, just use a wet wipe to clean the blades will do, if you wanna clean the motor inside, then you’ll need to remove the whole fan and disassemble the fan
You can either do a full replacement or just unscrew the existing LEDs and replace it with new LEDs that has magnets beneath to easily install onto the original light’s base plate
Got the replacement for the Bluetooth/Cable toggle switch and that worked like a charm but a few months later, the Windows / MacOS toggle switch also had the same issues. Do you have the part number for that too? 😁
hello, your acrylic panel seems transparent when you tear off the protective layer, but when you install seems to be frosted. did you paste a frosted sheet over it? or I need to tell them frosted acrylic panel?
Had it for 2.5 years now, it’s not as strong as it was first installed but it’s still working fine and still removes moisture quickly. Cooking grease do clog up the motor overtime as the bathroom that I had this fan installed was connected to the kitchen, but after a quick service, cleaning and oiling the motor, it can functioned at 80% of brand new condition.
Could the power supply alone be replaced? I have similar led ceiling light for years but it could be light up occasionally. I think my led power supply maybe failed. I may try to look for one power supply and replace my existing one.
I think you are referring to the LED driver, yes you can find compatible ones and replace it. I did that recently with one of my lights but it wasn’t very economical. The full LED lamp cost ~$26 and the driver alone cost $16. It probably better to just buy the whole set and keep the LED light as a spare incase one burns out
I recently got this exact same headrest for my Haworth Fern chair (Atlas makes them now). I despise mesh headrests, so this one is perfect for me - I absolutely love it. I also have an OfficeLogix one pre-ordered for my Steelcase Leap V2, but they're not expecting to ship until late May. Once I receive that one, I'll have a better idea as to how the two compare against each other.

Yeah it’s still working till today, although I almost never toggle the switch after this fix because my devices are all connected to the keyboard via Bluetooth, switching the connect devices via FN 1/2/3 is much more intuitive
We have a similar switch. On the app ita says the switch is on but the swithch has the blue light on. When I press the switch manually it turns red (but it is a muted red) and the app says the switch is off. I am confused. When is it on and when off???
Hi, thank you for the instructions, but i am unclear on the earth because i find it confusing from the pinned msg. From what i see at 2.05, the 2 earth wires are wrapped individually in yellow tape(what is this) and connected to something metal(what is this) and shoved to a corner of the socket. Is that how i shd do? Or shd i connect the earth to each other using a plastic connector ( the white tubes you can press on that can be found with lights?) sorry, i am new to do and not familiar with tge terminology
1:52 you can ignore the yellow tape and metal hoop that I installed cause I removed that in the end and just connect the 2 earth wires (twist the copper wires together and wrap it with black tape). The white connector you mentioned can be used but I’m not sure how secure it will be

Your old light has 2 fluorescent, how come? Both on at same time or can each switch on separate? Then use remote control to switch or 2 switches? Seems like new LED is only one switch, so cannot save electricity use.
@@kakilai wha, your lights all so sophisticated (expensive). Wonder what is the toggle called and whether u can still salvage and reuse (no wonder your old light has another device besides the ballast). Sounds like good idea to save electricity, so can have 2 bulbs, one much brighter than the other, so as to optimise electricity use (reduce wastage).
same issue here. Offer of replacement for USD60.00 including shipping. Then they proceeded to invoice me for USD99.95. No offer for a padded option so I have just emailed them back.
I just tried a K8 and the on/off switch was a big negative. If you are going to leave it plugged in and on there would be no problem. But changing settings is not a great experience. For a keyboard with such great reviews I was surprised how awful that switch was.
