It should be noted that this flight appears to be over Geldingadalir, which erupted a couple of years ago, not the 2023-24 Sundhnúkur eruptive site. The latter can be seen in the distance at about the [0:35] mark.
I had no business listening to this song when I was 13 LOL but this was such the jam in 1996. My parents 100% knew what the lyrics meant but I would jam put to this playing in my discman 😂😂😂
Haha I was saying to myself, that Gene hasn't had anyone bash the drums that hard behind him since Eric Carr, but Shane started running out of gas. Eric knew how to pace himself, and would sound like a consistent jackhammer. The Fox was truly unreal at how much power he played with, and never lost beat.
I feel like some guys play everything fast live. Eric Carr notoriously did it and he was great. Ive been playing drums for two weeks and i can play it at the proper tempo. I just cant do much else.
No way man, it was cool to hear that song done like that, it's been a long time since it's been played like that, probably because of Paul Stanley being a control freak.
A funny thing happens when you get older and all your friends start dying off. You take shit a lot less seriously. You just wanna enjoy the time you have left with the people you love.
It is amazing how easily Josh can slip into the role of smooth ass crooner. He is the coolest person to ever live. From the coked up goof monkey to the guy who came out of the crucible of hardship with gratitude and wisdom, he is the absolute greatest.
@@kevinkarafiat8826 You probably associate it with a particular era, but the style of performing vocal deliveries with a smooth, intimate, romantic manner goes back to travelling variety shows, and was given the name "crooning" as far back as the 1920s. Most people would associate it with the pop stars of the 1940s-1960s, but that has more to do with media representation and current fashions than the style itself. But yeah, it is a magnificent performance by Josh, whatever style or genre or era you personally associate it with.
