Bravo! I’m so glad some one helped you in a way that you could hear and receive Truth! You’ve done a good thing by sharing what you’ve learned in a way that is clear and not personally attacking the person in error. That’s hard to do! I remember a few years ago I was looking for a daily devotional book to use, and felt convicted by The Holy Spirit about being more willing to read what other people have said about the Bible than I was to read the actual Bible! So I ditched the devotionals all together and set out to read the entire Bible and it was SO transformative! I learned I had allowed myself to be deceived for a very long time! 🤯 It seems like a real work of the enemy that people can read a book like “Jesus Calling” and not realize that no one can say what Jesus has already said better than Jesus already said it! He is The Word (John 1:1), The Lamb slain from the foundations of the Earth (Rev.13:8), The Holy Bible is the literal spoken Word of God that The Holy Spirit helps us to understand. I’m pretty sure He needs no help from the likes of Sarah Young in re-saying what He has already said! Until I decided to read the whole Bible I was just as confused. Thank you! And praise God that He is the God who has spoken for Himself! His Word is Truth. 💜
Thank you @amberroot4158 I was a little hesitant with this because I didn't want to come off poorly. I decided to read the Bible cover to cover this year, a first for me. I've always just read random selections and what was preached on. I am enjoying it immensely and would encourage all to do so as well, it puts things in a new perspective and understanding.
@@planalittlefarmlife I use a really awesome reading plan that I love to share if you’re looking for something like that. My favorite part is that it isn’t based of the annual calendar starting in January, it’s based of the academic calendar starting in September! It’s the only plan I’ve ever been able to keep up with! I love getting to January and when most people are trying to get hype for STARTING, I’m already deep into the Bible and don’t have another new thing to begin! It also isn’t reading straight through Genesis to Revelation, not that there is anything wrong with that I just used to always stall out by the 2nd chapter of Leviticus! 😂 This plan somehow helped with that, it groups similar and related passages together. Anyways, sorry, I get a bit excited, but it’s a great plan, and I didn’t even create it! 🤣 Oh, and it’s free! 🤣
@amberroot4158 I'm sorry I didn't respond sooner, I never got a notice! I would love to see your reading plan and keep it for future use. Reading from cover to cover was a longtime wish/goal of mine, I've been able to tackle this year. I have learned so much and am able to put things in better perspective. I plan on starting seminary classes, maybe this fall - if not in the spring!
What would you say to someone who is KJV only? I left a church a few years back that believes that any translation other than the KJV is heretical and any pastor teaching from one is teaching heresy. And a good majority of the body of that local church believes that you can’t even be a true Christian if you use anything else or that if you are a Christian, you are in danger of having your name blotted out of the Lambs Book of Life for adding to or taking from as it says in Revelation. They don’t even want anyone to come into the church that uses anything else. I held this belief for the longest time until I started to dive into the original languages and it opened me up to realizing that not even the KJV is 100% word for word like I had been taught. All of my family is still in that church and still hold this view. It’s just very disheartening for me to see them still wrapped up in this belief bc I truly believe it causes division in the body of Christ.
@michaelboleyn651 sorry I haven't replied sooner. To answer your question, I would say they are not living/acting as Christians as God calls us to be. We are to have grace and forgiveness as well as encourage one another in Christ. To live so legalistically and to turn people away from the church. They will have to answer for their actions one day. I say live your life the best you can, study your Bible, find a supportive church and pray. God bless.
May I ask a dumb question? For church sessions, why do you need anything more than a Bible, notepad and writing instrument? I can't understand how you can actually use all those other things, while actively listening to the preacher or the Sunday School / Bible study leader? About all I can do is take notes for future, quiet time, study. I mean no disrespect, with my question. God Bless.
@oldtimerlee8820 I don't use all of this all of the time. I have found to keep my brain engaged, I like different colors in my notes and sometimes highlighting (my sunday school notes in our books are an example). This also goes with me in the car for rides into town (not close), ladies bible study as well as around my house where ever I may be studying. If I were to go searching or retrieving any of this during my bible study, I personally am likely to get distracted with housework or kids, etc.... This is definitely not for everyone. BTW there is no dumb questions. :)
@@planalittlefarmlife Thank you for your reply. If I'm understanding correctly, basically this is where you keep your Bible study supplies. To be used, as needed, wherever you happen to be. Sorta like a Biblical portable office, so to speak. God Bless.
@@CountryStrong2309 I finally had time to look up Love in a Puff! I think they would be amazing over an arbor! Unfortunately they won't grow in my area well. :( Thanks for bringing them to my attention, I love learning about new plants.
Thank you for sharing. I would definitely be interested in your planner items. Trying to figure out how to frankenplan to help me get better organized as a fellow 4-H mom/leader.
Last year I used Prayerful Planner www.prayerfulplanner.com/pages/print-plan-shop. This year I have decided to use Kingdom Bloggers Plan, bloggersforthekingdom.com/scripture-writing-plans-for-the-whole-year/
I purchased the printable version a few year's back & couldn't get it to print correctly 😂 I think I'll try again for 2024, even though it's not the newest BBP. And I remember the propane day's.
I have this planner to use as my faith planner for next year have not set it up yet. I want to do some scripture writing and prayer focus. Thanks for the great ideas!
Great! Let me know if you think of anything that I haven't shown. We haven't done soil test at this new house because everything is coming up so well (also surrounded my farm fields).
@@planalittlefarmlife i’m ready to do my second soil test. I graduated class of 21 so it has been 2 years since our soil test. Our lawn is doing lots better. I don’t think the previous owners had done anything to this yard! My raised beds did well except for root vegetables so I’ll get that analyzed.
My Michael's phased out all the planner supplies as well. I was so disappointed. I live two hours from the closest Michael's/Hobby Lobby stores and I am thankful when I visit and find good clearance or a great sale.
It's disappointing they they are phasing out so much. I skip over Michaels and head for Hobby Lobby and Joann's now. Clearance deals are the best though!
I trimmed down my paper to 9"x7.5" and changed the settings on my printer for HP Classic size. It all printed perfect. This is the second year I've scaled it down as I don't need a full size. LMK if you need help printing. :)
@@Rdz2012last year when I printed mine I believe I did scale it at 84% which to out some of that blank space from the side of the punches. I do recommend to stay between 82% & 84% to print it. Hope this helps. There is a RU-vidr Marianne I hope I spelled that right but she shows how she prints out the tbm in a5 size and shows you the scales. If you need the video link just reply and I’ll share. Happy planning
Your Happy Planner Fall spread for October 23-29 is giving me all the cozy vibes! 🍁🍂 The way you've seamlessly blended the autumn colors and incorporated those adorable fall-themed stickers is pure genius. Watching your planning process is not only inspiring but also incredibly relaxing. Thanks for sharing this beautiful layout and helping us bring a touch of fall into our planners! Can't wait to implement some of these ideas in my own spreads. Keep spreading the creativity and positivity! 🧡✨
I have been with happy planner since 2019. I didn’t know it was a thing with the stickers and accessories or the community until 2021. I just bought it because they were always on sale at Michaels before school started and I liked the teacher layout for work. I have considered a bujo but I know that if I had to keep setting it up, I wouldn’t stick with it very long.
That was part of my problem, setting up all the pages. I enjoyed it a lot when I had the time, but for that season of my life it just wasn't doable anymore. I love the versatility of HP.
