It's because Minecraft changed how commands work. Here's the new command /give @s minecraft:item_frame[entity_data={id:"minecraft:item_frame",Invisible:1b}]
My world is broken too and I DO NOT want to make a new world. My partner and I have such an amazing base I feel like crying... We DONT have the time to just rebuild everything either....Our base has been there since the game came out I believe, almost 800 in game days over a period of years... I just spend an hour trying to see if I could get our stuff back since our Portal to the Ashlands was in mid air over the ocean...We fell and my partner died in lava while I swam to the nearest shore, only to get killed by enemies!! -sighs- I'm going to find a mod that will allow me to get my stuff back.... Wish I had my adventure on video, I was invisi-killed by some new kind of serpent, which I did not see until my ship broke and I was WALKING ON THE BOTTOM OF THE OCEAN!!! I had items to make a portal, so I did but now that said portal is at the bottom of the ocean. Wish they would make a diving mod....Or something! 😞😭
I would've wanted to see it if you had it recorded. Let me know if any mods are able to get your game back to how it was. I'm sorry you lost your base. I am having a hard time trying to bring myself to play this game regularly again. I'll probably wait a few years to play it again.

It was available 1 year ago in June. If you want it for free check the creation club every month. They typically have something different every month that you can get for free. We're in July so we will probably get the American power armor paint for free.

I recommend looking at the creation club towards the beginning of the month but usually it takes a few days for them to cycle their free creation club stuff every month.
@Snikeymans yeah I think I confused the vault tec and the minute men. But if you keep on looking once a month, they might change the skin colors to what you want eventually.
If you have been playing valheim for any length of time you know that when a new biome comes out your old saves are oftentimes not going to work properly in various ways. This video is stupid and your reasoning is flawed. Do better.
While I did do some ashlands exploration and flametal mining prior to the update, I didn't build any bases close to them. So while I do have a lot of unusable metal sitting around, I wasn't too upset about it, as I figured there might be a chance that something like that could happen. As the Ashlands update neared I thought about building a closer base, but then heard that there was likely to be a good deal of terrain adjustment near them, so I held off.
Our worlds arnt even slightly broken.. 1. most of us stayed away from the ashlands and if we didnt we just avoid the ring of broken land 2. This can be fixed with devcommands. 3. The ancient metal is no loss you knew it was just a place holder. 4. Nobody has their main builds down on the bottom ring of the map (dont try to say you did) You have scenic builds in old ashlands thats it. You lose those. 5. you have a strip of fog reveled leading down to the Ashlands.. youve explored nothing in the area, you just happened to find a yagluth vegisir, im sure if youd zoomed out wed see youre actual yagluth. Calm down, avoid youre couple of old exploratory buolds and enjoy the game. If you use devcommands the developers added a command to generate all of toure ashland Points of interest, as old worlds have them few and far between. You just type 'genloc' into dev commands. It stands for generate locations
Our world changed a lot too. The boss locations changed slightly. So you had to clear them off the map, click a runestone again, and set up a new portal. Our base wasn't affected as it's very centered on the map. But a view rocks have clipped into walls even there. And you can expect the same for the high north, far east, and far west. Either make a new playthrough with each update, like the dev's intended. Build a base at a location that most likely won't change like close to the spawn or any large meadows/dark forest biome close to it. Or wait until they finish the game and it's out of early access, like Minecraft.
I knew something like this was going to happen but I didn't know how bad it was going to be. I also explored that area before I knew that the land mass would change thinking I was getting ahead on exploring and gathering resources.
There is a mod that can fix some of your problems. Bases build in the deep south and north will prolly not survive but you can fix your world atleast. There is a video on youtube called: "How to Play Modern Ashlands on Old Worlds & Fix Missing Locations" that can help with that. I was lucky and didnt explore much of the ashlands before and did not build anything there so I was not affected as much but the mod described in that video helped with fixing anything that was janky on my old world.
@@capatheist zones_reset is not an inbuilt command. It comes from the Upgrade World Mod. If you mean genloc, yes that is indeed inbuilt but does not fix anything towards flying rocks and so on. Upgrade World with it's commands actually allows you to fix the wrecked land.
yea...the change in elevation cost me some structures as well...the cleanup was insane and took the better part of a day. A lot of good resources were lost to the depths of the waters which was a real pain. First two trips to the Ashlands ended in death on the beach with no portal up. Took me a week of farming mats to make new gear just to make a 3rd go of it and get my foothold. It has been nonstop combat every time I'm in Ashlands. I can't walk 10 yards without fighting something which gets the attention of something which gets the attention of something and then a respawn happens and it gets the attention of something...
Same problem here, sent a bug report but it's not in the "know issues" page yet. Damn, it's so frustrating, all these years playing the same world and now I can't play because of this.
Not only that. They clarified that the world generator will change every time they work on it. So you have to expect changes like this as long as it's in early access.
This is devastating, so far my world seems fine and I would be beyond gutted if my world borked as I have spent hundreds of hours building huge cities and castles.
Well every time the world generation changed old worlds where no longer compatible. So this is not the first time this happend to this game. Best thing to do is create a new world now and do a new play trough. As the next update is as far away as it can be just after this biome release.
yea my marble fortress crumbled infront of me when i portaled in rip. also proximity doesn't seem to matter i have stuff effected in biomes no where near the ashlands, my deep north scout portal was floating above the ocean when it used to be, well located in the deep north unfinished biome.
I'm so sorry about your marble castle. Make sure to grab all the resources before they de-spawn. They may have also changed the ground around the deep north as well. But it seems like most people if not everyone needs to make a new world.
@@yookoala i mean most of the central part of the map was spared but my marble fortess was in mistlands that was still really close to mid map and for some reason the ground still sank like another 10 feet when i was already at the dig limit, i've also noticed alot more mistland trees underwater now.
