*MOST EXCELLENT VIDEO!!! 💯* I have watched other videos and read a few things on how to pray the Lutheran Rosary but none of it made all the sense. You really got through to me, "thanks be to God and praise to Thee O' Christ!" "Peace be with you" ☮🛐✝
Jesus declared why he was angry at the moneychangers; "You have turned my Father's house into a cave of robbers!" The apostles took note and understood Jesus' motives because they recalled the Psalm 69:9 " The zeal for your house has consumed me.." It was zeal for God's house and pure worship that motivated him. The merchants saw God's house as a business opportunity, like so many churches today.
I understand based on the edit why you would feel this way. If you watch the rest of my sermon I do talk about what you are saying. I agree with your interpretation of this scripture and said as much in the full sermon.
All of your sermons are very meaningful, but I found this one especially moving. I heard it in person this morning and I just listened to it again and will probably listen to it again. Thank you so much for your inspiration!
Hello, I am a Lutheran in Korea. The rosary of ELCA knew only two things, Renten Rosary and Longworth Rosary, but I found another. Thank you for the introduction.
Very good message. If only more people would take it to heart and hold it there. May the Peace of God be with you and grant countless Blessings upon all of you.
Once again you have hit upon a tough subject and have brought a new way of thinking. I have always felt that I got back ten fold for what I gave. Not that I expected to receive, it just seemed to be a by product.
I think your understanding is right on the money (pun intended). It’s about living in a way that is generous, without expectation of receiving. And when we do receive, we enter into gratitude rather than entitlement.
Come to the feast of heaven and earth Come to the table of plenty God will provide for all that we need Here at the table of plenty O come and sit at my table Where saints and sinners are friends I wait to welcome the lost and lonely To share the cup of my love Come to the feast of heaven and earth Come to the table of plenty God will provide for all that we need Here at the table of plenty O come and eat without money Come to drink without price My feast of gladness will feed your spirit With faith and fullness of life Come to the feast of heaven and earth Come to the table of plenty God will provide for all that we need Here at the table of plenty My bread will ever sustain you Through days of sorrow and war My wine will flow like a sea of gladness To flood the depths of your soul Come to the feast of heaven and earth Come to the table of plenty God will provide for all that we need Here at the table of plenty
I really look forward to your messages during Lent. I have never heard communion explained as you just did and I will probably watch this video many times to try to absorb all of the information you just gave. Thank you so much for the time you spend preparing and publishing these videos.
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16 KJV, Jesus Christ is the only way.....
