About 25 years ago I was on a panel on multicultural kidlit at a school library conference. A large group of librarians at evangeical Christian day schools asked about books that portrayed Jewish families whose Judaism was an activevpart of their lives, not an incidental bubbe with chicken soup. They are representative of a group that is strongly supportive of Israel today. They represent a large, untapped market for unwoke Jewish stories.
