I am currently in the middle of diagnosis and have had an ultrasound that showed the follicles in my ovaries, but my testosterone levels were actually low. 😕 I’m so confused. Like do I have it or not?

Mam, does sugar causes permanent damage to fertility? Or fertility issues can be reversed? (I have pcod since 2017) Been eating sugary products as well.
Honestly, I don't see why any woman would want to get pregnant. Pregnancy puts a lot of strain on a woman's body, and it is very dangerous, and it has a lot of risks, and a pregnancy lasts 9 months. Also, childbirth is very painful. And also, raising children is very hard. Personally, I think being childfree would be a lot better than having children. It's been proven that single childfree women are happier. Studies prove single, childless, women are the HAPPIEST demographic. Women are the happiest when single and focused on themselves.
I get it done in a little over a week. It has been four years of trying. Everything on both of us is okay and normal so it has been pretty frustrating. Hoping for success!

I'm not diagnosed but I'm feeling severe pain in my left lower abdomen during periods. I'm actually worried that this pain is no longer normal as it's getting worse every cycle
My period is supposed to come on 6th but on 3rd I had a little drop of blood different from my monthly flows for for 3 days and it stopped but since then I haven't checked if am pregnant or not
I’m 34 and recently I found out that I might go through premature menopause which is really sad. AMH is really low 0.035 and high FSH 😢 is it even worth it to do egg freezing in my case?
Dr Amanda, I am here after seeing your interview with Steven Bartlett. I was diagnosed with PCOS at 15. I am now 30 years old, and of all the 15 years that I have been in and out of the DR's office, not once have I had a DR explain with so much clarity what PCOS is. Your sit down with Steven Should really go viral because so many lives will be changed. Education is so important; I have been educated, and so will many women. We are charged £250 for a fertility consultation in the UK, and not once do they explain things the way you have done so freely. Can't thank you enough for the work you do.
Im a newly wed and am not planning on having children soon. My blood flow is less than normal I suppose and I had an ultrasound recently due to indigestion, which showed my endometrium layer at 4mm, this was on the 3rd day of my cycle. Is that a problem?, cause I searched online and I saw 7mm was the norm for pregnancies.

This video helped me so much. I switched clinics after my second IVF cycle with a clinic. I had a large number of immature eggs on both retrievals. Same protocol both times.
Hey Natalie thank you for this great info. Can we talk about IVF success without testing embryos? In many places in Europe testing is not performed and live births from mosaic embryos are quite common.

I’m 39.8 and managed to get 15 eggs last month, 10 mature, 7 fertilized (ICSI), 3 blasts, PGT-A pending. Was really confident when we got double digit eggs, but each drop felt like a gut punch. Really hoping those blasts are all the good ones.
Had 3 egg retrieval at 38 years old to get one euploid embryo, and now 26 weeks pregnant. Parameters are different from person to person and these retrievals with hormone injections has bad side effects on health in general, doctors used to ignore complications and focus just on the final result.
Ive just had a miscarriage at 8 weeks. 4 weeks later I got my negative pregnancy test but I'm still bleeding. Im 37 so time isn't on my side, we may try again but for now I still need to take time to recover

I had a miscarriage at 9 weeks (my 4th child) and had to have a D&C. It’s been 2 months since the procedure. I took a pregnancy test that was negative but I have been gaining weight even while exercising regularly and managing my diet as I did before the pregnancy. I also have been experiencing skin issues not normal for me. Im thinking I better see the dr. To be fair I have a very abnormal cycle that is 40-60 days long. If you see this comment what do you recommend? Ps I am a 36.
Even for one person every cycle is soooo different. First retrieval was May 7.. 16 retrieved, 15 mature, 10 fertilized, 3 blasts (2 euploid) Second retrieval was July 2.. 18 retrieved, 11 mature, 9 fertilized, 7 blasts (PGTa pending) *38 years old *SMBC using donor sperm
My cousin got 8 eggs at 38 years old and had 3 born babies, all healthy by 44yo. I got 15 frozen eggs when I was almost 39, but I have PCOS, so that makes a difference. I don't know if any of those will turn into a baby, but I had my baby through IUI at 40 and she's healthy and happy. These are fortunate situations, but there are other women in similar situations that didn't have the same results. It really is specific to each woman and her partner, and the parameters are so complex that one needs to get personalised support from the experts in the field.
You can see the growing follicles. The eggs grow in the follicles but some follicles may be empty.. So by counting the follicles, you can have a rough idea of how many eggs are currently growing.
