We had a reallygood laugh @ this video, she said make sure you have a steel ruler in millimeters, the bizarre thing is all of Spotlights curtain measurement's are in Centre metres 🤣
Great video helped me greatly. However, I can’t roll the blind down following instructions to gently pull left. Is there a tape or something stopping it that I didn’t take off?
Hi there! The cord need to be moved to left pulling down gently to release the lock. There should not be any tape to hold this. If you still have trouble, please bring your Spotlight blind to the closest Spotlight store and the furnishing team can show you in person.
Please note: the post below is just how to calculate the 'visible' part of the curtain. You still have to add onto that width the two side hem allowances. I always line my curtains and use 5cm + 2cm for the curtain to lining join.
Don't follow this video, it's rubbish and one of the worst I have ever seen. Am I the only one that dispares at the glib x2 to x 2.5 measurements length one finds with every eyelet curtains video???. Fine for tape headings but, as the other commentator says below, you MUST have an even number of eyelets or you get one end pointing into the room as you see at 5.16min, and you have just wasted a lot of money and time or have to shorten the curtain. So forget the absolute X 2 or x 2.5 widths, they can only be a guideline. The eyelet to eyelet hole distance (the one I use is 14.4cm centre to centre) determines most of the the visible width of the curtain. The only place you can change this is the pole to wall return at each end. I make mine 8 cm which is more than the hole to hole distance. This then hides the rest of the curtain behind the pole nicely. So at the very least, you need 2 x your wall return, then the length of your even no of eyelets centre to centre. Example: wall return 2 x 8cm, 2 eyelets 14.4cm apart = 30.4cm. For 4 eyelets, this becomes 59.2cm because there are 3 x 14.4cm between the first and last eyelet. I would suggest you actually draw it out first on paper, especially if you are skeptical. Equally, you need to consider the stacking width of each curtain for your pole length if you want your curtain to pull back to just the edge of the window/door. This can be significant, 25 - 40 cm depending on the thickness. Then your bottom hem, certainly with a full length curtain, it should me more in the order of 8 - 12 cm (I generally use 10cm) not the 4 cm here. Since most of these videos are made by curtain makers, I can't help wonder if they want you to fail so that you think you can't do it yourself.
Hi there! Thank you for reaching out to us! a hair dryer can be used to dry artwork in Flow and Fluid painting, but it can alter the design that has been achieved due to the speed and wide area that air is pushed onto the surface of the artwork. For best results, a Heat Gun is a better option as it has a slower, more concentrated air flow, that also reaches warmer temperatures. A correctly used Heat Gun should not cause Flow ort Fluid Art to crack.
Hi there! E6 means, Error Code ‘E6’. The motor locked up because the thread is tangled. Turn off the machine and remove the tangled thread before continuing the operation.
I've had an ebosser for a long time and it finally stopped working. Definitely wanted another electric cutting/embossing machine. This review helped me make up my mind. Thanks for sharing.
Please help me I bought a sizzix switch six months ago. It broke and a white plastic bar shot out of it. I’m confused maybe it’s operators fault. But I have trouble with my hands and this was a godsend. Can it be fixed or do I send it back or get a new one. I’m 77 and on a fixed income . Can’t afford to but it again. Please help
