Mine does it too I think the grinding ticking noise is the injectors. I was warned this style manifold is noisy so I’m just gonna let it do its thing lol
@@davkrat5 yea it’s a good all around boat, it has a flatter hull and is light so it rides rough in choppy water. But it still gets the job done just like any other boat
The 8.1 would be more comparable to a 460 7.5 as their both big blocks. The v10 is a 10 cylinder but still small in displacement. The 6.8 v10 would likely run close to or lose to a 6.2 LS.
The only competition for the 6.8 v10 is the 8.1 vortex, the 8.1 beats the 2v 6.8 v10. And the 3v 6.8 v10 beats the 8.1 vortec have to have respect for both they are monsters
@@gmfan6029 buddy I've owned both I currently own a 6.8 V10 it's the truck that carries my business it's about to hit 250k miles without a hitch. I loved the 8.1 nothing wrong with it besides gas mileage which is worse than the V10 and it's got less power. You could never convince me otherwise when I've already experienced it for myself
