Definitely. I’ve been there and know it! It’s SO hard! I’m going to be looking at ways to boost that income if you are part time or / and minimum wage and putting ideas together in videos x
It’s not exactly ‘spare’ but if you see some of my videos you’ll see how I manage to budget and work it into what I do. At one point I didn’t have 100p to spare…
You are right. You could have done a lot better also of you sign up to their emails, you get vouchers each month towards certain priced shops (also gives you that weeks bargains). I love farmfoods mangos (so juicy) and watermelons as they have less seads. You can also get a giant bag of apples for £1. The deals can be insane in date for over a year, branded seasoning for like 20 odd pence, decent chopped tomatoes for 3/4 for £1, cucumbers like 50p it's great to save money.

Not silly 😂 Penny Savings Challenge was designed to save a set amount every day for 365 days, but I don’t do it that way. It totals just less than £700. The mini one I made for people who want to do a less amount, over half a year and total just less than £170. Just fun ways to save money. My pot of gold saves my £2 coins only. Total £200. Although I also do one saving just £1, saving £100. Really they’re just fun ways to try and save different amounts to suit whatever works for different people ☺️

I love all these ideas. I find it cheaper to buy 1 whole chicken & i cut it up myself for my boys (im vegetarian) but they have thighs one day chicken breast another day and just use up through the week.
way too many carbs in a week. Far too few veg. No child should be eating creamy pasta and mac and cheese in one night nor a bagel pizza. Aim for half a plate of veg. And cut down on carbs and sugar.
I feel you’re missing the point here… if you’re looking for ideas to save money, short term, hopefully it can be a starting point. Not everybody has the luxury of choosing exactly what they’d like to eat, sadly. Even if it’s a short term, temporary idea. Hopefully it gives people something to eat, rather than nothing x
Oh definitely agree, but this is a concept based off of an income of £2000, not a rent of £2000. The numbers would obviously be much different then, as the income would be much higher. I will look to see what other potential incomes may be with this concept and what the proportions may look like then x
