I have a qashqai 67 plate. I locked the car last night and it was absolutely fine. Went to the car this morning and on the screen on the dashboard, it was showing that the boot was open. Checked the boot and it’s shut properly, but the car still thinks it’s open. Tried opening and closing it numerous times, car still thinks it’s open. Theres nothing blocking it, the car just thinks the boot is open when it is definitely shut. Major problem is, as the car thinks the boot is open, the doors won’t lock with the fob. I’ve managed to lock the car doors with the actual key, but that doesn’t lock the boot.
That roumd white plastic thing you have in the white plastic pot where does it come from? Mine fell out whilst replacing my switch I have no idea where it fell from. Thanks for you video. Diagnostic yool directed me to a faulty swith and then you video helped with location and access. 👍
I have the same issue on an HR15 could, could it be the position sensor is not sending back pedal position signal? Secondly how many volts did you use to test the motor?
What component inside the aircompressor keeps the air pressure from leaking out the rear valve when its off? I bought an ebay compressor and it pumps up, but doesn't hold air. The new replacement one I received does. What can I fix or maintaince in the defected one? Air check valve? Where is it?
Thank you so much for uploading this video. It saved me $759, this is exactly what Nissan asked me to pay here in Sydney, plus 2-day wait to get a new locker from Melbourne. I declined it and I am sooooo glad I did. The problem with my locker was a tiny piece of plastic that stuck inside preventing the motor from spinning. As soon as I got it out, everything started to work as expected. NISSAN Service didn't even investigate what the problem was. I am so happy I stumbled across your video. Thank you once again!!! All the best to you and your family!
Hi hi sir I have the same problem and I've checked the motor and clean the connections it's working properly but when I reconnect it it doesn't work and the boot light is working but the boot doesn't it's like there's no power in the boot switch or maybe it's the fuse ?
You really shouldn’t make videos of fabricated information when you have no idea what you’re talking about. This isn’t a feature exclusive to IMA vehicles for whatever made up reason you just gave. That’s just a feature that was introduced as a convenience, which also helps reduce starter wear for those who hold it too long causing premature wear. I have an 08 Acura TL, 2010 Acura TSX, and a 2012 Honda Odyssey, which all three have this feature and are not IMA vehicles. Smh 🤦🏾♂️
After being plagued with this problem for a long time, the answer actually turned out to be simple. Exactly as Mista found and after I replaced both sensors, still this exact same gauge problem persisted. Even bought a second hand cluster from the wreckers and fitted it. Same problem. Then I found this simple procedure to re-calibrate the fuel gauge and finally fixed!!! Follow this. Hold the odo button down and turn the ignition on. Wait 2 seconds, then press the odo button 3 times within 5 seconds holding button in after 3rd press. Turn ignition off. Turn the ignition on and voila!!! Gauge reading perfectly. Will see if this holds.
Do you have a video with instructions on how to remove and replace the locking mechanism from a Nissan dualis j10 2013 or similar? Mine stopped working the other day and I'm trying to work out if I can fix it or replace it myself or if i should take it to the mechanic. I've been looking for instructions online with no luck so far
No seas malo amigo pásame el diagrama estoy desesperado compré. Motor y ecu sin tacómetro y mi tacómetro es de 2 entradas y el qué vino es de tres te agradeceré mucho y seré tu fiel seguidor. Gracias
Nice work! What spring hose clamps and mount kit did you use? I don’t trust the worm gear clamps as those often cause leakage. I read reviews on both Dorman and Hillman spring clamps were made of cheap weak steel so I am thinking of Denso/Toyota brand but they don’t seem to sell those along.
Thanks! This video helped me get the boot of my dualis opened after it jammed and possiblely fix it enough to suffice until i can afford to get the mechanism replaced.
Hi, I have the same car n same problem. I dont think its shifting into higher gears on time. Seems to be ok up to gear 4 then engine revs high. I change up manually now and getting better fuel economy .
I have a 2010 Honda Insight Hybrid car that consumes 5 liters /100km of fuel on the highway, but when I enter the city, it increases to 9-10liters/100km. There are no issues with the hybrid battery, the spark plugs have been replaced, and there are no error codes. The Honda service cannot find the problem, but I think they just haven’t looked carefully enough. My car consumes an excessive amount of fuel until it reaches a speed of 20 km/h when starting. After reaching a speed of 20-30 km/h, there is no problem, but if I press the brake and reduce speed, fuel consumption increases again. The car shakes back and forth at startup, and the engine RPM increases and decreases spontaneously. I can’t solve this problem, please help. I’ve seen 5 mechanics, but they all say there is no problem.
