Hello from Australia. Beautiful locomotive....it just looks and sounds "right" doesn't it? I'm curious to know the gauge of the track it's on....and was the loco always the same gauge?

You're thinking about Challenger 3985, which came through here in 1992, headed to and from the Republican National Convention in Houston. It also made a side trip to San Antonio. That Challenger is now owned by a railroad preservation group in Illinois, operating out of the old Rock Island Silvis Shops.
