Hey there, my name is Sir Lukachu. I've been on this platform since 2008. I've watched many people go big, quit and sadly disappear. I've witness all the changes on this platform from content, channel page, home page and thumbnails. I'm pretty much the Grandad of RU-vid, though I'm not that old, maybe a Dad? lol
Me? I'm a Kiwi from New Zealand who just love gaming. This Channel was once home to Pokemon music and a few other odd videos I made when I was learning about filming. As of now, making videos is really a hobby for me. I've tried going big, didn't work. That's okay :) Can't really compete with today's trends.
TBH, I'm really happy. 2.38K subscribers with 4,636,342 views. Even if 97% of it is a direct result of the Pokemon music, it still puts a smile on my face as I get to read wonderful comments almost everyday from awesome people!
So stay safe, stay awesome!
I DO NOT OWN ANY RIGHTS TO ANYTHING I POST ON RU-vid THAT IS NOT MINE. THEY BELONG TO THEIR RESPECTED OWNERS.
I saw a tiktok that referenced this and it awoke a serious memory for me. Instantly searched for this and found this from 15 year's ago... it made me very emotional. I was 8 when this came out.
I just rewatched the film and this song always gets me close to tears, it’s so beautiful The wrath of two legendary Pokémon, calmed by a song of tranquility
Its comment sections like this that really make me love having the ability to read others thoughts. Cause like my own experiences this was very important to a lot of people.
I stopped watching Pokemon as a whole not too long after this movie came out. I never lost fascination with the franchise, I kept up with the games even when I told myself certain ones didn't look too interesting to me, but I never really went back to the series after the 'Gen 4' era. I was decently young at the time, I couldn't have been any older than 9-10, but for whatever reason I just never got back into the animated series. No matter how many years passed though, even long after I forgot exactly which episode or special this song was from, I never forgot it. I often referenced the main leitmotif in my own musical works on the piano, I thought of the melody while trying to relax, it never left me. Going back over a decade later to find it, after a bit of a goose chase admittedly, was a real treat. It still hits many of the same notes for me even after a solid decade and a half has passed.
I just rewatched this movie last night and god I feel old, I remember watching it on cartoon network when it came out. This song is legit the climax of the movie, right after darkrai gives up his life to protect the people of the city and his home. this is by far one of the best pokemon movies I've watched. yes it has its clichés but all movies do. Even as an adult i feel this song deep inside me, to me this is one of the best pieces of music written for a movie.
Wow, even after many years have passed this piece still brings me to tears. This film was one of my childhood memories, i may have not grown up with pokemon much like everyone else sadly, but i can understand why many people love it. I can never get that scene out of my head still.
music in the 90's as a kid made you feel hopeful for the future. what a let down lol. but its great to go back to those times just by listening to this
The Music Back Then Was Way More Fun. The Music From More Recent Movies, While They Are Still Ok (We Admit We Did Shed Tears), The Music From The Very Beginning Was More Complex & Felt Authentic. Personal Opinion Of Course.
2 years later, did you get one? how about Legends Arceus? Scarlet or Violet? Myself, I haven't bought a game since Ultrasun... which i still haven't beat, it and white2(or maybe it was black2, don't remember which i got) are the only 2 pokemon games that i bought, and never finished and i haven't touched the switch ones for 2 reasons. The first, is that I couldn't take all my favorite pokemon with me onto the switch... and the second, which i discovered later(not counting how bad sword/shield were) is that to try and stop the switch getting cracked and people making game cartridges with 100s of games on them, is that saves are kept on the switch... not the cart... which worries me, i've had many gameboys/dses and consoles break... and if the switch with all my fav pokemon on them were to break.... there they go, gone forever... so i'm waiting for the saves to get back on the carts, hopefully before they shut down the 3ds pokemon home for good, which would stop me from sending them onto the switch version of home, and thus from getting them to a newer game ever again... so at this point i'm kinda resigned to never buying a pokemon game ever again
I was eight back thenn….. and now im 23 … and yet listening to this song reminds me back how beautiful life was back then… my dad bought me a copy of this movie on a dvd i watch it every single night before i went to sleep… damn who would of guess that just a simple song from a cartoon can hold soo many precious memories🥹
