Tks for the video but it will be more helpful if able to see the skin of ya normal pregnant love bird. So that we can tell the difference between one that is egg binded. I look underneath the feathers of mine and saw that it’s a little bit bruised.
My cockatiel is around 3 months old and wont eat by himself, he nibbles the seed mix but doesnt know that its supposed to swallow them and spits, how do i teach that? After some hours i just give in and feed him his formula (he screams alot for it)
I just loved your video! I have a baby on day 21, and I’m so glad to have your picture to compare growth. We have been feeding since hatch since it was a surprise for us, as the parents never really sat on the egg much and didn’t understand how to care for her. Glad to say our baby seems to be on track with yours. We just love her 🩷

If it’s fully covered with feathers then you can introduce soaked/boiled chickpeas and sunflower seeds.. but feed him 3 times a day.. you can also introduce pallets if available..

At this age it should be fully independent.. most of my cockatiels are fully independent by week 7 to 8. You should encourage him to eat seeds.. always keep seed mix in his cage.. add some canary seeds in a separate bowl.. they like to crack it open.. also keep millet spray I to his cage.. limit the feeding to morning and evening and in two week only in the evening. Hey I have a question does albino cockatiel look any different after their first Molt ? Or there is no difference at all ? Mine is 4-5 months old and going through her first molt so I’m curious
Hi bro..i have a week old cocktail chick..ive placed it in 97 to 98 Fahrenheit degree..i give food watery nd the digestion is very slow that it poops only once in 5 hours but it does feel hungry for food..what can be done to fasten the process of digestion bro pls suggest ur ideas..i really want to save the chick
Usually at that age.. cockatiel baby should be fed around 1ml every 2 to 3 hrs.. they need feeding round the clock.. also if it’s taking 5hrs then something is wrong.. could be over feeding or slow crop…
It depends if eggs are fertile and if it’s properly incubated.. in my case I have had time when all eggs were fertile but non hatched and some time all hatched and chicks grown to adulthood..
@@phdahdbirds no, he is eating by his own, also his mother is feeding him but i didn't see his stomach full as compared to how much i was feeding him, so is there any problem in this case, he is eating by his own as well as his mother is feeding him with some millets and soft food.

Means 5ml syring …2time for yellow coctail ..it’s will be 10ml for one time…….like that 4 time , 7am,12pm, 5pm & 10pm night…I’m I right?? For only morning feed need to add neopetine 2ml right?? Rest 3 time only feed no need neopetine right???
I never recommend human medicine like neopeptine.. keep them warm and feed them precisely.. that is more than enough to keep bird active and healthy… I never have to face any crop issues… 🤞

Sorry to hear that.. I only recommend hand feeding if parents reject baby or in any unavoidable situation.. main cause of babies is not surviving is crop related issue.. sore crop or slow crop… it depends on two factors (1) temperature at which you need to keep babies.. it varies every week (2) consistency of hand feed, it also varies every week.. and is complicated to explain.. its better to contact vet immediately..

Hi, I have an adult pair of cockatiel and they gave 2 babies, when the babies were 22 days old I took one out for handfeeding and another one is inside their breeding box and his parents are feeding them properly, and I am handfeeding the another one, now he is 27 days old and I have to leave out of station urgently day after tomorrow, so should I keep him back in the breeding box in the morning when his crop is empty??? Will his parents still feed him??
I do this all the time.. try doing it now and see if parents feed him.. my cockatiels are tame so it’s very easy for me… try it.. but keep checking every few hours…

@@vardhanmendse5040 I keep doing this and hand feed baby cockatiels even though they are with parents to help parents a bit raising 4 to 5 chicks.. never encountered any issue.. ensure hand feed at correct temperature and not too thick
Hi sir, i have a question I have took my 25 days old cockatiel for handfeeding and as you said i am feeding him 3 times a day with 12ml per feed, but after that he asks for even more and the he just go crazy, he just start shouting and bobbing his head, whenever i take him out to play he keeps shouting, so should i feed him more than 12ml quantity of feed untill he refuses to take??? 12 to 15 ml in one feed for 25 day old cockatiel baby is good enough.. as soon as his crop is empty, you can feed him another 12 to 15ml and increase it from 3 time to 4 or 5 times. Feeding frequently is not a problem, but over feeding will develop slow crop or other crop related issues. Many are saying - chicks have less mortality rate when we use incubatior (DIY) , so can u please make a detailed video form incubating eggs to weaning chicks
I have plan to make one soon.. stay tuned… Irrespective of any incubator.. only factor that matters is temperature and humidity.. if you can maintain that with DIY then no need to invest on expensive incubators.. this one is also DIY…
