Very nice installation. I ordered the kit plus the sensor relocator kit. Once the sensor is relocated, how do I get the sensor wire connector attached to the sensor ? Do I need to cut some of the plastic housing away ?
Can the parking sensor be placed above in the body colored area instead? I see in some photos it can be. How would you do that? Do you need a body colored sensor?
@xulisvoosmuas yes. It can be placed in the bumper as you see in the pictures. Also, yes, you would need the body colored sensor, which is not available in the U.S. you would also need the hole punch tool to make the new hole.
This was of great help thank you! I had 3 questions. 1. Do you know the pin out for the stalk switch connector, or at least for rear fog? 2. Can you explain why u connected the blue and white cables together? 3.any idea what the pin out is for that 6 pin optional connector on the fuse box module? Thanks so much you really helped me get my fog lights set up very oem like. Thinking of adding rear fog switch but not sure how it will work with start up animation on rear reflectors. Worst case just have rear fog switch set up with something else.
@@rotheinstaller sorry I just meant what each of the connector pin is for you knew that the pin next to the dark green cable was for front fog lights so was curious if you knew what the rest were. Like for rear fog , turn signals, high beam, low beam etc. For 3, how did u know that pin on that connector was for driving lights?
@levy35305 I don't know what the other pin slots are for... all the info I share, I learned from someone, or experimented on my own car. You can hit me up on IG if you got more questions or if you need more clarity on the setup
Hi again. Order the same kit as you. There are on the way. I want to know if i decide to install the button and the stalk switch together, where are the wire have to connect. Black: Stalk.....White: DIY Plug, but the Red, where ?
Just got the kit. Do the light bulbs not flush along the plastic trim pieces? Any recommendation on the aiming of the fog light, like the setting of it?
@parthpatel6251 No, they don't. The adjustment is on the side. Adjust them all the way down, then check it, and if they are too low, bring them u up a tad bit. Just not too high where it's blinding to on coming traffic
Very good video. Need more information on how you did the relay hardness together (white and blue). could you explain more about what you did. Would like to do the same, not like in the first video
@Lenrage all I did was cut off the push button on/off switch, cut the wires at the relay, but at the length like I have in the video and Join the blue wire to the red fused wire
@@rotheinstaller perfect thank you.....one last question. Wich one of the lights did you get with the ballast....are these the 35w or 40w. Website not really answering questions. Are these lights leds or bulbs. Thanks
Is the splitter compatible with the 10th generation of Civic? I can't confirm it in the description, so I'm going to buy it with AliExpress. Low tone part number, please.
Did you install the 35W fog lamps or the 40W projectors lamps? Also, after you moved the parking sensors, how well do they operate ?Are they same as before?
@@rotheinstaller with the 35 W is it projector lamp or reflector lamp? I am guessing the 35 W comes with a ballast to plug in so it can lower that much Watts, correct?
This is the best foglight install video out there most people just focus on bumper removal but noone tells you how to correctly wire the harness into the car .Thank you for your detailed tutorial
Did you recalibrated front sensor after this? Because even very small change can make sensor reading off from center. Reason i dont mess with removal of front bumper as it needs to be checked with special tool.
@promotionelista2780 I'm really not sure. I think it is tho. The sensors on the crv is 18.5mm. I had to make the hole a bit bigger to fit the oem sensors
My issue is the USB-A port is really spotty even connecting to my phone. I’d like to replace the port with a USB-C primarily for a more reliable connection. Anyone know if this is possible?
Question man, if I order a new bumper from Honda? Did you say you have to paint it? And how much does it cost to actually order one from Honda? Thank you
@@rotheinstaller thank you for answering, I just hit my rear bumper and the Honda service wants to charge me 600 to fix it, not get a new bumper. Another question if you don’t mind, when you paint it at the body shop is it the exact same color? If it’s not, is it easy to spot the difference in colors?
@Fabianpradov with my color, it did not match 100%. From a far, you couldn't tell, but close up you could. Their are shops online that can match it and ship it to you. Ebay has a few. You can buy the bumper from them, they paint it and ship it to you.
Just had these installed. Seems like the left one is put in wrong and the light is facing up not down towards the grown like the right one. Do you think this is possible or is it defective? Left one is illuminating upwards like high beams instead of downwards!
