Thank you for your lovely video, I was in this hotel last month with the same view, it was absolutely mindblowing! We were delighted with everything in general in spite of being a small room. My girlfriend came with plenty of clothes, so she had to keep them in the luggage. The four elevators were working, but still waiting times between 9am and noon were high. Now breakfast is served at 1st and second floor, so there is more space but we went early for breakfast just in case. The food at the buffet breakfast was quite wide, we did not miss anything, it was quite good considering I am vegetarian. The gym was small but never too busy. The staff was always friendly, kind and helpful. We paid $385 per night in May 2023, breakfast included. All in all, the view of the room makes you forget about all other issues. Totally worth the stay. We'd rate it 9 out of 10. We had a great time, the weather was just perfect and for my girlfriend, it was her first time in NYC.... and I am sure, not last.....
I stayed there a couple years ago on my way back from Hawaii. I love this hotel. It was excellent and worth the $280 I spent. Covid was in full swing then and most stuff was closed, but I really loved the room.
I wish they would have put like more detail to the walls the floor like crown molding and marbles floor or marbles countertop and gold trimmings and stuff like that I could see the potential five star hotel 🤩
Stayed last weekend lovely staff but busy place so yep elevators are busy too so be prepared to wait ! Also the room is noisy ! Why ? The aircon is constant so you have to just get used to it Apart from that it’s perfect Great location
It wasn’t too loud when I stayed there but I guess that depends on if you are on the floor under the lobby/restaurant/bar. Hope you enjoy your stay! ❤️
Thank you so much for the video! I’m from Australia and I want to book this just for those views! I wonder if all the rooms have an amazing city views!
Love your intros, great music! Where do you get your music from and what are you editing your videos with? My mom lives in NYC and I go out there 1-2 times a year, so we usually stay at her apartment, but have been wanting to stay in a hotel in a different area. Good to see this review.
Stayed there in 2021, the Grotto bar was under renovations or still being built at the time, we we're bummed about that. The pools are great though and if I remember correctly they are open 24 hours a day? Either that or just open really late. I absolutely loved our stay there! By they way it's "shave ice" not shaved ice. Bay Area!! I made a short video of the same hotel, but without voice over.
@@allthingsdrelobaybay I had the blessing of living on Maui from 1990 through 1994. I used to pick up tourists from all the hotels and take them to the top of the mountain Haleakula, and bring them back to their hotels at the end of the day.
Thanks for the video. I have a question. The website says the room has two queen beds, but they look a bit small. Do you think they are really queen size?
Thanks for watching! 🙂The room that I did a review on was 2 double beds and not 2 queen beds. I don’t think they had 2 queen beds as an option on the Hyatt website. I think if you’re trying to book 2 beds, it’s 2 double beds and not 2 queens beds. Hope this helps! 👍🏽
I just checked in the hotel. I booked a room with two queen beds, and they are indeed queen beds. I think they have two double beds rooms and two queen beds rooms.
