hey ive been trying to beat him but i keep getting hit by his ice when he flies backwards and other times is there a technique to dodging the ice the spits?
Tried to not go too expensive on most runs but getting around 30% cast speed/10% action speed 310 movespeed 8-12 magic heal(not sure this is good/matters anymore after nerfs) and the rest into will/add magic damage. Was getting 120 is health early on to tank certain things but haven't needed it after learning fight better
I keep getting screwed to either him jumping up in the air and getting hit by an ice bolt even though I am holding a or d. I never let go of strafe, and I am looking at him yet I constantly get hit. Any tips?
The jumping ice bolt is tough I think it's about learning when he can do it and not being too close, I used to get hit by it all the time and never get hit by it now can't say 100% why :') Sometimes he slams really fast after charging you, just have to be ready to full run away in case he does it. The range is pretty big but should be able to get away with any movespeed I'm pretty sure. Also really recommend not jumping against air ice bolt and the charge(unless you're charging a spell mid air like I do hellfire) because it makes you way more likely to get knocked off arena depending on position
is there a certain ms u need to dodge the pounde attack cus that is like the only one that gets me also i noticed that alot of the times theres alot of iceicles on the arena and it makes it harder to kite is there a certain way u get around it or nah
is it possible to kill it without using flame walk also what stats do you run and could you explain why your running anti magic and move speed gear over more magic power spell casting speed
Flamewalk not needed at all, move speed and anti magic for fighting all the other warlocks attempting the boss. Generally been going for around 30% cast speed and 310 move speed in the wyvern runs without thinking too much about other stats, 10% action speed and 120 ish health are other nice stats to go for. I don't think add/true damage or magic power matters much for boss fight but I usually get some on jewelry/cloak
It takes a lot of attempts to learn all the small things that can instantly end your run most important I would say it play close to the boss and spam hellfires, learn the distances for baiting melee attacks and always be ready to cancel spell and strafe when there's a chance he can dash. And random tip is to rotate right instead of left if possible because he often randomly turns left before dashing which makes you more likely to get hit if you're strafing left
Was this before of after the Torture Mastery nerf? How much magical healing do you think is comfortable for the fight? And do you know of any way to predict the slam attack? I have been trying to do this fight on Bard, but the slam gets me a lot. It seems like it is every 7-8 attacks, but I'm not sure how to predict it reliably.
The full fight is after nerf, I feel like you don't really need much or any magic healing at this point since it does so little, but might still be nice to have 8-12 (occultist hood+book/neck for example). I think you just have to bait and outrange the slam attack, for me I'd say every 4 ish attacks he does it.
i really wish you would stop force laughing at the end of sentences. they can end on a bland note, it doesn't have to be entertaining or funny every time
