I live just south of Georgia and have a yellow cling peach, it is sweet but not really what I would consider an eating peach. I am looking for a white peach that will do well here and am considering the babcock or white lady. Any suggestions?

The vine ate the south and then the bugs ate the vine. Now there are fearmongerers saying that the bugs are eating the south. The reason why there are so many bugs is that there are too many vines.

These dudes graduated and now own their own farm that specializes in crossing peach varietals to discover that perfectly balanced sweet and tart peach that will last longer after vine-ripened. jk

Weird listening to actual Black Americans... I guess all the current black people are just immigrants and not really Americans no? Makes my heart sad to see real people when everything on TV now is fake...

Now I know what’s killing our plum tree! So far not on whole tree so if prune off can I save the tree? If can’t get top ones will kill it 😢.

I have one carpenter bee hole on my front porch railing which cannot bee seen. They have been using it for several years now. They pollinate my blueberry bushes so I leave them alone.

I need more info. 1.What about when the peaches are at the end of the stem? 2. If there are leaves right by the peaches, do you tear off the leaves? 3. Those peaches looked big--past time that bugs would have gotten to them. So when is the earliest you can do it? Thank you

They are trying to spin this just like the aircraft spaying . These are spin doctors, Lying. They are killing the native plants. This is lies. ve seen the evidence myself. Your just repeating what someone else has told you. it something to be alarmed about, It is killing trees and bushes everywhere. there's some kind of variant from the older traditional Lichens, what's happening now in conjunction with the fungi- moss. I believe is a cause of raspatory illnesses in the human population also. I've seen areas out in the country and mountains where its killing many, many trees. our planet has become very unhealthy and ill from the 1970's& 80's. I've seen the evidence of it myself. Ive cleaned off the trees and bushes and its helped but if I let it go it totally starts killing the plants especially from the limbs down. This is not your great grandpa's normal moss and algae happening. Ive seen complete mountain sides effected and dying. The trees without out the fungi/algae are not effected or dying off. The effected trees in areas are being smothered or sucked dry, or somehow killing them. Its obviose. other surrounding areas that do not have this moss/lichens fungi on them, are living well. Reply

Another good thing to do is build them some nest boxes. If you have young pine, the trees won't be large enough for nest cavities. Though they can build their nest in the open, a nest box would better protect the pups from crows, hawks, etc. Thank you guys for the work you're doing!

Thank you for this video, and for showing the different kinds of lichens! My husband and I inherited some older fruit trees when we bought our house, and they are completely covered in lichens and aren't doing well. So of course we thought lichens were killing all our trees, until we started researching more. Your video was exactly what I needed! We now know the trees need some careful pruning and they should bounce back in a year or so!

We always had carpenter bees drilling holes into our funky, old garage when I was growing up. They were HUGE, but my parents told me when I was young that they didn't really bother people, so I never felt scared when I saw them. Friends of mine, however, who would come over to play and witness them working would FREAK OUT! I always thought it was kind of funny. :-D

I'm about to attack my couple year old plum tree. I had great production three years ago, then not so much and then pretty good this last year, but the black knot has spread quite a bit. I did a bit of spraying of neem last year during the winter. I am going to try to trim it all out and then make a serious attempt to spray neem and copper fungicide throughout the winter. I sure hate the idea of getting a few years into plum and cherry trees growing, only to have to cut them out. 😢 If I can't get it under control, it is time to rethink my orchard spot. Not a super big loss, since the insects get the fruit before I do many years. At least 75% of it anyways.
