Visit our website for list of services we offer and map of our service area. There are different types of videos on this channel: some videos are how to, describing the process step by step, in detail. There are many videos that show some of the basics of painting that can be applied for DIY painting by homeowners. Some videos are just snippets of the project that we were working on and showing either the preparation work or application part. And some videos are before and after recordings of different painting projects. Videos are recorded by ABN Painters. We are a painting company located in Phoenix AZ.
Brand: H&C Colortop www.sherwin-williams.com/homeowners/products/hc-colortop-waterbased-solid-color-concrete-stain Color: Many of the jobs that we do is a custom color match to existing color or another color that customer wanted. If there is no color listed on the video ( most of them don't) there is no way for me to know which color was used.
Great info, after SealKrete, do you apply a coat of primer? Or can you directly paint it with paint and primer? How much extra you charge for this job? only to have an idea. Thanks
A lot deepens on the surface. About 100-200sf per gallon. here is the link to the spec sheet. You will find your answer under section "coverage rates" www.sherwin-williams.com/document/PDS/en/035777880258/
Good job and thank you for posting. I am gathering the courage to take on a similar size project. Can you tell me the approximate wall coverage from an 80lb bag of stucco? If a top coat of stucco is to be applied, how much time should be allowed from the application of a base coat? Hope your backs are doing well these days.
On this deck we used Color top. Here is the link to the product. www.sherwin-williams.com/homeowners/products/hc-colortop-waterbased-solid-color-concrete-stain
A green float would’ve been a lot easier to float out the brown coat. If you were going to apply a color coat of stucco over the top you could have used a hard rubber float over the brown coat.
I have a 30×70 cinder block building. Do I need to use drylock or something else on the exterior and what would I do on interior before framing? Any advice is greatly appreciated!
Thank you for sharing your job and providing insights to swimming pool repairs. I must say I am shocked that you would take on this type of job because your channel is identified as painters and for that I commend you because the customer may have had a difficult time getting a contractor. Why paint a swimming pool deck? I thought paint would make the pool deck surface slippery? I recently learned about Shark-Grip? In my research of swimming pool maintenance and repair, I don't think our swimming is in despair as I once thought. I have so many DIY Projects ahead of me because I cannot find contractors willing to do the job(s).
here is the link to the tape we use. We use it not only for stucco but for just about all exterior masking. It has 3 days clean removal when it is not super hot and works great for everything. www.homedepot.com/p/3M-Scotch-1-41-In-x-60-1-Yds-Rough-Surface-Green-Painter-s-Tape-1-Roll-2060-36AP/206298155
Okay soooo I know it was the customers choice but tThe color clashes with every color around it. it’s like wearing a bright purple shirt with orange pants
You can use just about any caulk that does not have silicone in it. www.homedepot.com/p/DAP-Alex-Painter-s-10-1-oz-White-All-Purpose-Acrylic-Latex-Caulk-18609/100078928
I am not sure about its base. I don't think it is oil based. Yes you can tint it by adding a very small amount of paint. Not too much paint or it will become too thin and will not cover well.
this is a short video. full version of this video with step by step commentary and product names will be posted on this channel when i have a chance to edit it. most likely end of august when i have more time.
