My name is Selçuk. I am Associate Professor at York University Department of Economics. I created the content of this channel for my students at York, hoping that it will enhance their learning experience during Covid-19 restrictions.
Making this channel public was out of necessity at first. But then students from all parts of the world started noticing it and kindly shared their appreciation. At that point, I decided to keep the channel public, which is my humble way of giving back to community at large. I am not a youtuber by any means, but I do my best to provide a better viewer experience. I can devote very limited time for this channel, so sincere apologies if it fails to meet your expectations.
Since Spring 2021 RU-vid can place advertisement on any video without asking content providers' permission. I personally find RU-vid adds annoying, but understand that RU-vid has the right to monetize hundreds of gigabytes of space it freely provides for my videos.

In the last video you said that MR = partial derivative +P. But in a numerical example you took only partial derivative, without adding P. Is that a mistake or my misunderstanding?

12:35 If education doesn't increase productivity, and in our population of 100 , 50 are productive and 50 unproductive. If everyone gets and education, the productivity split remains the same. So shouldn't the wage be 12.5 only? As firms have no way of knowing who is productive and who unproductive, so they take an expectation of productivity to decide the wage rate?
