Like your vid but there is a much cheaper hotel then the Vive. We are staying opposite the Vive in the Pacific Monarch. We stayed there last year for 15 days and we are staying again this year in Oct for 14 days. Comparison of price for Vive and PM for 14 days Vive $3206 in include Taxes Pacific Monarch $2152 include Taxes. Now there is a but , we don’t book through Pacific Monarch, we book through an independent owner , who owns 3 units in the PM. Hence the much cheaper rate. Be in mind that he is booked out most of the time 6 months in advance, so plan well and truely in advance. Cheers Rod
@@RodSwansmad thats good to know! At the time of what I wanted from a hotel (especially one with a reduced parking cost) and gopro included…this worked out well for me price wise. Of course prices fluctuate. That’s really good to know and I’m sure your comment will help somebody looking for a good deal!

If you are going to spend the time to post a hotel room tour then why not mention the price of the room, one of the most important points of any hotel room review. You waste a viewers time so much in this video. Very odd. Just saying.
Room prices fluctuate massively depending on time of the year hence why I didn’t include it. The aim of the video was to showcase a room and location. It’s quite easy to search the hotel on google including your time of travel to see a more accurate price

Prices certainly fluctuate but you could have at least mentioned what YOU paid for the room you were featuring at the time you were staying there to give your audience a ball park idea of the cost. Obviously someone watching this video is watching this video because they are seeking useful information about the room/hotel. One of the most useful pieces of information for most people is the actual cost of things. So it strikes me as odd that you would not include such a vital piece of information in this video. You seem to think that pointing out a bench in a shower stall or a tissue box in the bathroom is useful information for your audience but you don't seem to think mentioning the cost of the room would be useful information. This is very odd, almost comes across as deception, as if you are getting some kind of kickback from the hotel by posting this video and they don't want you to mention the price because it is outrageously high or something. That is all fine and good, but if this is the case, you should be up front about it with your audience. Just saying.
@@St-uv5bc I get that, but content isn’t necessarily filmed and edited at the time it is uploaded so you could argue that if I put the price, by the time someone watches the video it could be wildly inaccurate. This has happened on other hotel reviews whereby the price has increased since posting which could be also perceived as “deceptive”. Theres pros and cons, but I’ll keep it in mind. @@ManpsOnTheMap You've made an excellent point sir. I hadn't even taken future viewers of this video into consideration. I stand corrected. Although, I suppose if you were to mention a hotel room price in a situation like this you could avoid any perception of dishonesty from future viewers by including a short caveat pointing out that the price you're giving in the video for the room at that time may be different in the future. Of course including such a caveat seems almost absurd since common sense about fluctuating prices should come into play for anyone watching a video like this in the future. I see your dilemma here. If you mention the price without a caveat it could be perceived as deceptive in the minds of future viewers who lack common sense but at the same time, if you add a caveat this could be perceived by viewers with common sense as an insult to their intelligence. Therefore by not mentioning the price of the room at all, you have avoided this dilemma entirely. Brilliant. Hats off to you sir. Well done.

Hi! I would check out the prices with Essence Grand direct via their website, then compare the price with this website (www.halongbaytours.com/cruises/find-a-cruise/page-2.html). I booked direct with Essence Grand which worked out better for me
