The Experience Wing Chun and Taiji Channel by Sifu Sergio Pascal Iadarola is the number one place to be if YOU love Wing Chun or Taijiquan, all lineages featured.
The man in the video above 👆 is a liar with no moral sense! He confuses right and wrong, so everyone should be careful! He wants to make money from people who believe his lies.👎👎👎👎👎
You guys are all fucking idiots and so is the moron in the video. That is literally just a shuai jiao knee wheel. It's the same type of throw found in Judo, and in MANY styles of old Kung Fu/Chinese boxing.
Thank God for YOU, Sifu Sergio, for "deep diving" into Wing Chun roots, to grind through the "jive turkey" , storybook history, and shine light on THIS style ! Lots of "meat and potatoes", interviews make YOUR Podcast a real winner !!
careful 👁️👁️!The man in the video above 👆 is a big big liar with no moral sense! He confuses right and wrong, so everyone should be careful! He wants to make money from people who believe his lies.
In dealing with traditional "Chinese Martials" masters, MOST enjoy secrecy to make researchers and students "clamour-for-the- glamour" of being the so-called, "closed door student"..."Masters" are VERY aware of this "human weakness !"..That is by accruing techniques and "belonging to a secret cult or club"...YOU, the devout "follower'" would be the "baddest mofo on the block..!" The masters KNEW this, and could add "techniques and maneuvers", (real or made up) That the "master" learned... in the caves of Shaolin monks hiding from soldiers !!😅😅😅 How would you REALLY know ? "Only the Shadow Knows !" 😊
Yes, in the (our) old days i often wonder, why KK tell us that Chi Sao Position is H2H, if i have always do a Step to come to the Partner or if i stretch my fist i am not at him.. Is this here the right meaning of .. i think Leung Ting tell us in WT Kuen .. this will be trained in the Biu Tze? The story of Yip Man where his foots are rooted and his limb could be extreme flexible? Greetings
What?!?!? The points you are presenting seem to indicate that Mok Wai Keung actually has full endorsement from his sifu! Does wayne young have a similar endorsement? So the name Snake and Crane just some rebranding of Dai Fa Min Kam back in the 2000s?
I am 50 years old and not interested in that at all maybe 25 years ago yes but at this time in my life martial arts is about Body Mind and Energy cultivation
@@SifuSergioChannel Unfortunately, without the application aspect this =0. For health and harmony, swimming, cycling, running will bring more benefits.
@@user-tg1yj5pi7j For health the chinese internal martial arts are a lot more beneficial for longevity then any of the sports you mentioned, you Beter get your facts straight and do some more research, the parks all over Asia Are full of proof many I have met where even over a 100 years old, now how many of the triathlon and marathon runners you know will reach that age? In fact on average at which age do they pass away? Please inform yourself before placing these kind of ignorant comments 🤦🏻♂️
@@SifuSergioChannel This is a typical mistake, you confuse sports and physical culture. For example : ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-zAmsHhc2zCw.html
Sifu with all the respect,Chu Shong Tin also used internal mechanics, but he was a Direct student of Ip man and the SLT he practiced on was different from the one you teach now days,So whats the point of the small change of the movements in the form, while the essence remains the same? What is lost in history its not the correct movements of the form but the way/idea of training. My point of view with all the respect again.
The internal mechanics from CST he did not learn from Ip Man let that be clear, he was a great man and wonderful personality he just did what he could with his sources to restore what was once there. Nowadays we have a much clearer picture where all came from and the older sets and yes the way of cultivation to develop the engine is certainly the most important
To be honest, if you watch Hendrik's videos, he just waffles on for ages and never actually makes a succint point. His videos are very hard to watch and he comes off very arrogant . He really needs to move on with life and stop creating drama.
@@Eternaprimavera73 He is now trying to attack in a different way discrediting Wayne as the successor Etc An important post from Sept 2023 that should clear up some misinfo a certain gentleman is trying to spread around facebook.com/share/p/oVfvBqSQKq44SYeL/?mibextid=oFDknk this post from last year clears that up but I will leave it now, I have no energy anymore for him he has really mental issues
It's important to correctly identify genuine historical writings, but this thing between yourself and Hendrik is like William Cheung all over again. 😆😆😆
This is about the Snake Crane Wing Chun family being discredited and me providing the evidence on their behalf. Nothing between me and Hendrik personal and absolutely not like William Cheung vs Leung Ting all over again as those had both huge associations while Hendrik is alone in his house shooting daily videos and not out there on the seminar circuit teaching.
Only alike because Sifu Sergio is documenting the history with publications and interviews and legal status in Hong Kong, and Sifu Wayne published in New Martial Art Hero, while the other guy is spamming propaganda and his story is undocumented except by his own words and to believe it, we must tryi to ignore all this evidence. It comes down to the forms and the mottos too,...and we have not seen his 6 core concepts nor his long form....
I can hear and decode all the words you're saying but I have no idea what's going on. I suddenly realize how trivial my knowledge of Wing Chun's history is. And I am fascinated. Thank you for my new hyperfixation.
@@SifuSergioChannel I'll check it out! I can only imagine that it's as well sourced as your videos. The only other Wing Chun history that I can seem to find is either the mythical narrative, plausible but unsourced speculation, or one guy who has a lot of sources and a lot of agenda.
Not sure. But i practised one inch punches on a boxing bag all day, and for a good 2 days, anytime someone came close to me or behind, i automatically punched but stopped my self from landing the punch infront of their nose. This was automatic instinct from all the repeated punches
Wing Chun is a martial art of Rebellion of Southern China against Qing Dynasty Government . It did not allow the peoples to learn and teach Wing Chun openly by Government.
Thank You Sifu Sergio....I think the Burning of the Red Junk Wharf is the place most of the history points too as a shared nexus of our stories' beginning. Keep up the great work.
The great reset ! all major event around the world since 1776 (the establishment of the Illuminati Cult in France, Germany and Britain) are a big part of the great reset of humanity to erase the ancient wisdom and spirituality in order to gain full control, power and manipulation for the benefit of the leaders, bankers and the elites to keep population under total enslavement. no wonder why the Chinese rebellion boxers started at the 1898 and the invasion of Tibet by China in 1950. Great Knowledge and wisdom are disappearing through man made events and we the people dont even notice !
Once and for all, hendrik santo is a liar, taking credit from the work of others. Is there any original contribution from Hendrik santo? Maybe only translations from general Chi Ji Kwan.
In the previous video, “oldest writings” is plural. If we take just that and interpret it like it is said, it doesn't claim it to be the oldest writing but one of the oldest writings. The name “1700’s/1800’s Wing Chun” can be interpreted as “1700’s Wing Chun/1800’s Wing Chun”. Good definitions don’t leave room for a misinterpretation so better would be something like “1700’s pre-Wing Chun/1800’s Wing Chun” or “1800’s Wing Chun & it’s 1700’s ancestor” - something that clearly separates Wing Chun from it’s earlier form that is not yet “Wing Chun” as it is defined. What comes to the definition of Wing Chun, standardization is the beginning of mutual understanding so industry needs standard definitions that are the same for all parties. Otherwise communication gets difficult if people are fighting over ownership of words. What truly matters in the end is the definition of a word, the principle, not the sequence of sounds we use to describe it. Like this grandmaster stuff: many want the title but the main idea is to be qualified to fluently play around with stuff. I would choose the latter if I had to choose between the two.
Would you say that this range you are showing is slightly closer than Hong Kong WC? All of your strikes were open hand palm strikes - are these the white Crane arms ? Any elbows or forearm filing strikes at this range? Or are you too close? Or is it just a preference? Thx
I would say it should be the same range as HK Wing Chun many however don’t have the right engine to make it work so they are a little bit further off then Wing Chun actually dictates, the open hands strikes are just a personal favourite of mine and used a Lot in White Crane yes, at this range I could also throw elbows no problem.
I m thinking, because people back then where not really ecudated ,the Kuen Kuit was really misunderstood and passed down to next generations, slowly degenerating the knowledge of the art.Secret gives another meaning from the word sacred
Just a quick question, what about Yip Man’s foshan students, wouldn’t they have learned what he learned from Cha Wah Shun? Why do they (Lun Gai, Kwok Fu, etc) do SLT, CK, BJ?
Thank you. Very informative. This distance stuff is very important since so many people doesn't seem to know these things and for them Wing Chun is kinda like rigid body boxing from chi sao training range. I know the very basics of internal engine but snake engine is still mostly mystery for me - what it adds to internal engine and how to define it. Answer lies somewhere in Emei and snake reeling section of 1850 Siu Nim Tau. It has something to do with direct, roundabout and recovery momentum handling 🤔 Waiting to experience it so I can get some reference point. Sorry, I kinda output these monologues to arrange my thoughts and to learn 😅 According to my experience it is a good thing to stand on own two feet, play with stuff from all directions and try to detect connections between it's parts to develop insight.
Thank you for the feedback, why don’t you come to one of the 1700s/1800s Internal Wing Chun seminars of the eternal spring institute in Madeira or when one is held overseas so you can experience it
@@SifuSergioChannel I don't think my current skill level is enough for that, at least not yet 😅 Mostly I use this stuff as qigong and healing, I'm not very good at kung fu. Like to research these underlying principles behind all these seemingly separated phenomena. Would be interesting to visit, though. Maybe some day in the future if I have the money I can visit there. If not as a qualified kung fu practitioner, then just as a tourist to do some research. It's very intriguing place :)
This was a really great video Sifu Sergio. I have been a big fan of yours and have followed your RU-vid channel and videos for over a decade now. I wish I could study in person with you or one of your top senior students, but since I am located in the US and don't travel, that is not an option for me. I checked out your online school, but you only offer lessons in drips and drabs offering only 1 video per week, that equates to only 4 videos per month. I am almost 60 years old, and not in the best of shape with a limited amount of time left. I need to progress faster than 1 video a week. Anyway thank you for this informative video and I look forward to your future videos.
My online course needs the 1 lesson a week format as next to the technical side its about Internal Cultivation and it just needs that time, it’s already given in the fastest time possible and that’s based on years of experience. Just give it a try and follow the instructions and you will get results. Thanks for the feedback
Released a reel on Yang Taijiquan yesterday on Facebook, content is not only made on RU-vid but also on Instagram and Facebook. Appreciate the feedback
I Previously considered my Wing Chun punch, to be of a pretty decent power... However, it wasnt until I specifically decided to develop maximum short range power... that I attained a whole other level of impact potentials, via Fully Mastered Fajin expression. Well beyond Lethal levels of power, within less than 2 inches of Runway... Sergio, my question to you... is about Finger Strikes / Dim Mak. Is Specific Dim Mak points, part of the Biu Gee / Wing Chun training? Ive seen the Dim Mak points shown in some WC books... but as far as I know (I never got to finish learning the full art... because all of my Sifu's kept moving) ...that it may not specifically taught in any WC schools. After developing Masterclass levels of Fajin... I easily recognized that its the reason why people like George Dillman have completely unreliable Dim Mak / Pressure Point striking results. He has never developed actual Fajin expression... so his methods only seem to work (at best / if at all), against extremely weak and out of shape students (and also, likely because they are Subconsciously cooperating, too). Fajin is the true Secret to actual, Real, Dim Mak results... such as causing so much internal Inflammation, that bloodflow circulation, is severely reduced (or at highest levels.. you simply cause an actual Rupture... causing internal bleeding / d3ath) Of course, you could just use a fajin fist strike to the forehead, and cause instant brain damages / ruptures... so maybe its not really needed to be part of the teachings... Especially Since WC is a Reduced / Simplified Artform... and learning and mastering precision point striking, may have required too much time to develop. However, I have wondered if teachers like Yipman may have learned these points, and methods... but potentially refused to teach them to Others. I had read, that Yipman had only every taught the Butterfly Swords, to two people in his entire Life... and that only a select few were ever allowed to learn the 3rd level of Wing Chun teachings. Ive speculated, that Yipman held a lot of key things back intentionally... Likely because a lot of Secret Gangsters, may have been taking his classes. That, or special students that were learning + passing the class lessons to certain Gangsters. One of the former students told a story about Yipman teaching him... and asking him the question: "How do you know that Im teaching you REAL Wing Chun?" I tend to believe, this question was intended to make the student go out and Test everything, for themselves. But it could also HINT at certain "key" things... being intentionally taught incorrect, too.
One more thing... Have you ever used a Toe-Stabbing kick, within Wing Chun's fighting framework ? As Part of my Iron Body conditioning routine... Toughening the Toes was one thing I did. Eventually I started toe-kicking the heavy bag, and sandbags. I figure, its the equivalent to a finger strike... but using the Feet, instead... Not long after I had mastered this... I was sparring against a Kyokushin Karate instructor, at his school. I notice his lead legs thigh was "Open", and so I used a Toe-Stabbing kick, nailing his inner thigh. He partially buckled down a little.. and he was temporarily unable to move... so I then easily stepped in with a flurry of handstrikes. After that, he stopped sparring, and asked me what I did, and what it was called. Said he never felt / experienced anything like that before. He said that it was sort of like a very bad cramp / charlie-horse... and like said before... he was temporarily unable to move, as a result. I would later also target areas.. such as the inner crease of the Hip Folds, or directly at the hip Sides... As well as using it to extend the reach of a kick to the abdomen. Btw - I Mostly trained my Fajin expression, by using a free hanging canvas bag, hung at a 45 degree angle, filled with something like 15 to 20 lbs worth of Steel BBs. It was around 7 inches in thickness, in the center most part of the bag. I also used to inch-punch the metal Safe Door closed, when I was at work. Of course, in addition to a lot of other things, like Slow motion bareknuckle pushups. One time while doing a Demo for an MMA fighter, I used about 10% level of Fajin, on my downwards forearm deflection... (Jut Sau?) and unfortunately, even that was way too much. In less than an hours time... the injured area of his arm (around the wristbone area), swelled up nearly double is size.. and he was great pains for many days to follow. Of course... that 10% would not have causes an injury... had he not went against our previously agreed "Medium" (safer) levels of power output. He got angered... and amped up to full power.. and it amplified the impact potentials, exponentially... That said... his poor Opinions of the Chinese Arts, and Wing Chun... completely changed that night.
