ok. I got it all apart and I'm drunk as a fiddler on the whiskey I drank while doing it. I'm sitting in the middle of a bunch of pieces, other than the ones the cats knocked under the sofa. I have no idea where any of them go, but I'm pretty sure I swallowed a bolt. What next?
I tried cleaning the molten foam in the solenoid as @mfelician suggested. The solenoid didn’t stick any more. However, the paper still gets stuck after printing the first page. What else can I check?
It's hard to say, there's not enough information. The first one is completely clean and comes out of the printer? If you print only one sheet, does the second one also go into the printer?
Thank you so much for posting this video, it fixed my customers printer! Just 2 little capacitors, I would have never known! How did you learn this was the problem?
Please help me get my Laserjet 1150 working. The power fuses are both good but there are NO lights or motors running when I turn it on. I followed your fix for the replacement of the capacitors and that fixed the yellow light issue but now the printer doesn't turn on at all. Thanks. Jim
Problem solved. Thank you so much! After replacing the pickup roller and separation pad with no luck, this did the trick. I still can't figure out why it was sticking (all parts were clean and didn't stick when I moved them manually). Your tape solution fixed it immediately.
Great video. Thank you, same printer and model. I followed your video and fixed it for me. Now my only problem is that it takes a long time to warm up before its first print..any advice?
It often helps to remove the foam shaft in the printer under the cartridge and lubricate the right bushing under it with conductive grease. But to do this you need to disassemble the printer.
I cannot thank you enough, your excellent instructions have enabled me to fix my printer. It has been broken for so long I can't believe it's working! Thank you! :)
Thank you! This got me pointed in the right direction for fixing my printer. I ended up taking it further apart and cleaning the solenoid contact surfaces, but tape would have certainly worked and been easier.
Hello, I'm from Iran, I'm trying to solve this problem with your training, although I don't understand your spoken language, but you explained very well. Thank you
