Story: A group of sinners and hellborns fight the angels under Charlie and Vaggie’s leadership and lose. Some of the sinners thinking/knowing they will die no matter what, delay the angles as long as they can to buy hellborn comrades time to flee. The elevators become emotional scenes as hellborn demons bid farewell to sinners who can’t follow them.
This fits very well. The hazbin crew is defending the hotel from a previously thought to be invincible angel army. The thrid reich committed genocide, so did the angels.
