Just had this done. The numbing cream should be on NO LESS THAN 45 mins to an hour. It was very tolerable with numbing. Not painless. After it was a rough 4 hours. Buy a small hand held rechargeable fan. Saved me lots of discomfort from the heart after… lasted 4 hours. Be prepared to sit with a fan on your face and you’ll be great. Can’t wait for my follow up and next treatment as I do feel I’ll need one more!!
My hair won't grow beyond my shoulders without stopping and breaking. I so needed this video and I'll give it a try! I have Nutress Argan Oil, can I use this or is your oil different? You're so adorable and sweet, and thank you for your help :) Much love from Canada! xo
I just had this done omg it huuurt so much when I was getting lasered I had no idea it would be so painful. For my next treatments I’m gonna take some pain meds beforehand. But I’m really excited to see the results bc I have really severe scarring
T18 is for level 10 hair (platinum shades) and T14 is for a lighter blonde (level8-9). Mixing the two toners gives a dimension to your hair. Hope this helps :)
I always put the playback at a faster pace so the videos play quicker. And funny because you sound just like Marsha Brady. 😂 Thanks for the tutorial. Question. Does the hair come back in with a stubble? And I have super super dry skin. What kind of wash?
@@DianaMarie23051 hi Diana, oh no, I bet I sound funny 😂 I have never had the hair come back as a thicker hair stubble. I was concerned at first too, but my dermatologist said it wouldn’t and after many years of doing it, she’s right. It’s never come back thicker. Thank you for watching 😊
@@brookeholmes9223 good luck! Just do your roots to start, and it might look orange when it’s wet, then blow dry and it’s not bad. Toner will help get the brass out and if all goes wrong, I just go see my hair stylist 😊 it might take a few tries, but you can do it!
Hi, yes I thought it was wildly expensive too. I am looking for some cheaper pricing but still high quality and skilled laser techs. Thank you for watching.
Hi, I always mix equal parts of toner, to equal parts of 20 volume developer. So if I use 1 ounce of toner, I add one ounce of developer. Equal parts. I hope that helps 😊
I had heard that the regular procedure involves 8 passes: 4 passes of 1550 wavelength and 4 passes of 1927 wavelength. However, in this video, you only performed 2 passes. Could you please explain the correct approach?
Hi, thank you for that I formation. I am not the doctor who did this Fraxel procedure on me, so I wouldn’t be able to explain why she did what she did. I trust she knows what she is doing. My best recommendation is to go to a dermatologist you trust. 😊
Hi, yes, oh my gosh, thank you for telling me, I will update the link now. The gloss drops I use are by Wella, Oil Reflections, Luminous Smoothening Oil. . Thank you for bringing this to my attention, and for watching my video. 😊
Hi, this treatment was not painful, but I have had it done by a different dermatologist and that one was painful. What you can always do, is go in early and have them put numbing cream on your face. That way you are numb. It helps a lot.
Hi Amy, when I do this it is just to help me go longer without seeing my hair dresser. Eventually there is too much brass and I have to go get highlights and low lights done. If it’s too brassy it might be time to see your hairdresser. This process I only do for my roots, so after a few times, there is too much gold because my hair has grown out. I would talk to your hairdresser.
Hi Amy, I myself don’t mess with bleach. And when my hair dresser does my highlights, she uses bleach. So I do not want to learn to do highlights. I only color my roots. In this video I am not showing a full length coloring. Toner does help with the brassy color, but it doesn’t remove it completely. I am only doing my roots, and there is still some brass when I’m done, but it’s not bad. So it allows me to go a few more weeks before I go see my hair dresser.
Fantastic video, super helpful ALL the VISUALS and narration of your experience. I have fair skin like you and boy they really go intense getting DARKER and for almost 2 weeks.. wow. but like you said results are GREAT !!! Expensive yes, I just received an estimate on the procedure definitely not cheap. Thank you so much !!!
Hi, yes it does get pretty dark, but it's been over a year and I am so happy with the results still. Best thing I have done for my sun spots for sure. :)
*here in Honolulu at Oahu Botox with Dr Kathryn Schaefer, they only charge $250 if you get it and a five treatment package, which is insanely good otherwise it’s $300 per treatment, which is completely worth it. There are other offices here that offer it such as Honolulu laser but they charge over $800! the place I went to, I’ve been going to since 2021 and fully trust. Heck, if I lived in Different state, it be worse flying here round-trip to save money per treatment or for the package deal because even with airfare, it’s cheaper than most other places*
I am so glad that I watched this until the end before going out and spending money on toner. To me it looks still so crazy brassy and a rainbow of shades. This is what I have been trying to solve as well but it looks like the toners don't do much at all of a difference. Thank you for saving me time and money.
I think she waited a little long to do the roots. My natural is a dark blonde and I color every 2-4 weeks on a tiny bit of regrowth it lightens without a toner and no banding! Hope this helps
Hi, yes I know the music plays, but I am just repeating myself, so I didn't say anything new. I have people tell me I repeat myself too many times. :) So when I was making the edits, I just dropped my voice and started the music. You didn't miss anything. :)
Hi, I use my skincare line of products. But anything gentle should be ok. Your dermatologist can help you with this as well. And you can always check out my skincare line if you are interested. www.SunLuxSkincare.com
Hi, thank you for your kind words. I am going in for my second treatment tomorrow and really trying to not think about it. At least now I feel prepared. I'll make a video to show everyone how it goes. :)
Do you think you can get skin cancer on your scalp from the hair chemicals? Chemicals enter the layers of skin and actually go into the blood stream . That’s why I do a loop frost on my roots. Nothing on my scalp.
Hi, I am not a professional hair stylist or dermatologist so I can't really answer that. I feel comfortable doing it on my hair and scalp, so I think you should do only what makes you feel comfortable, or you can talk to a dermatologist about it as well. :)
I was really understanding what you were saying and following you up until you started playing music and drowning out what you were saying,,, and how and what you were doing.
Hi, don't worry I realized when I was editing my video that I was just repeating myself. So I didn't say anything I didn't already say. I hope the video was helpful.
I highlight my own hair. I have a fair amt of grey, and i find to blonde bleach grey hair is very difficult and it takes a medium level developer and extra time (until the tacked up strands are almost white in color) ie 50 minutes to cure before the results are pale (not white) blonde, otherwise I get brassy yellow, very annoying. but the results are very nice!!
