5030 should have replaced 7148. I would prefer the power for 65 and 67/66 to be 5030, 4277, and maybe bring 5118. No ge engines would be fine by me. Also a great catch of 66 at 6:25 the sun kind of messed up the shot though
I don’t think they are going to be working at Simi Valley since they went up north twice. Oxnard local railfan caught them on one day and I caught them today. They maybe dropped off there set at Oxnard when they are done for the day since I heard them on the today radio at south end of the yard and when I got to the yard they were at the north end getting ready to go north.
@@jasongunther1929 maybe but I don’t think they would invest time and some money on this extension for Metrolink since I read on trains magazine that the Metrolink run to Goleta will last 1-2 years however things might have changed since I read that. If you go in trains magazine and look at news you might find it.
Dang it a catch worth seeing (that being the caboose). Although one of these days the caboose at Oxnard might be taken away, it’s been their since July 2003, it was built in May of 1979 and it hasn’t really seen that much usage since 2014 I think.
