It’s pretty obvious she was abandoned, but also looks like she recently had puppies. Hate to think what could’ve happened to them, but it was definitely lucky day for both of you. She’s obviously a very loving dog and looks like she blends in well with the rest of your 🐕🐕💙🤍
I used to live in Kalkaska, and would fish around the Dead Stream Swamp area on occasion. They get some really big bears out of that area and the fishing is very good. That is not a good area for an abandoned dog so thanks for rescuing her.
Man, I just revisited your story and it just makes me so thankful that you happened upon her at just the right time. It must have been meant to be. I hope you and your awesome little pack are happy and healthy, and thank you for being such a cool person to not only save her, but open your home to her and give her the love she needed so badly.
Everyone making assumptions about her being dumbed, but nobody knows. Being out in the wild, anything can happen. I'm just happy she was found by a kind man . ❤
She really took to the other little dogs when you got her home, so it's hard to believe that she was used in dog fights. Maybe as a breeding machine for those type of dogs, but you may have reached her just in time before she was bred more than twice, I'd say. Good luck to you and your family and canine members too.
