They have the exact same AWD system. The Vitara is a bit shorter and maybe has shorter overhangs, so that would make it marginally better for climbing uneven terrain. On snow, mud or sand I recon they would be exactly the same. The older Grand Vitara, on the other hand, has a proper full-time 4x4 system with low range and center differential lock, making it a serious off-roader. Too bad it was discontinued and not replaced...
The S-Cross is slightly bigger, and therefore, bigger inside. It's also newer than the Vitara, and might appeal more with it's newer design and technology. The engines, AWD system, and other mechanics are same or very similar.
😏 This review is more about promoting than reviewing. There are a lot of track testing video that do not continuously post the tire as you see it on a display. Video lacks numbers & facts. Another thing I noticed is very little real of road review. I realize this is a harsh comment. I’ve been trying to decide about purchasing this tire.

I watched this early footage of the EV6 when it first came out. I was stunned by the design. It's now been 17 months since I purchased a Yacht Blue GT-Line AWD like in this footage. It's been the best car I've ever owned.
You kind of feel stupid when you know how a revolutionary these tires are and that they look like sort of a micro version of a tractor tire. You kind of feel like we should have always known that this tread design was going to be good.
Again, nice truck. When is Stellantis going to start building and delivering orders for the "L"? All of the window dressing and eye candy is nice but consumers are waiting for there orders.
I guess like all car manufacturers, they are also having problems with parts (chip) shortage, and the quantities are difficult to produce. I guess all we can do is wait for things to get back on tack again...
