New channel I decided to make for all things motorcycles and technology, just invested in a new Go Pro for use on the bike and a drone for some 360 Aerial shots in some of Ireland nicest spots. Will be doing reviews on the motorcycle gear and Technology. Reviews will be the gear I wear and use regularly, same with the tecnology....so if you are interested in Motorcycles and PCs, Drone & Technology in general (who isnt?) stick around and pull up a chair and we see where this all goes.....
Just your average middle aged Joe, living in Ireland with a passion for motorbikes and technology and like having the craic with a few mates on and off the bikes. Keeps me sane in the current climate and helps me get out and about with my family.
Thanx for stopping by and taking the time to read this and I hope you stay safe and maybe we meet on my travels.
Bought these yesterday, my old wintergloves were not good anymore, and i've fallen for goretex products, my suit is goretex, my daytona boots are goretex and now these great gloves as well. It was pretty cold weather yesterday, but they were nice and warm on my trip to France, i feel that i've bought something very good, that will last a long time. My summergloves are also revit btw, they make great products in my opinion.
Yep, use it all the time. You really would not know you are wearing it. When you get it first its quite stiff but it moulds to you with the heat of your body. its really slim just over 1cm.
FYI, this particular machine the GRAVIS packed up about 3 mths after this video....Search for Pet Blowers rather then motorcycle blowers, they are the same HP but alot cheaper.

I use them in Ireland so much the same climate, I also ride with no heated grips. They are very warm glove but all gloves have a limitation tbh. I was out last week and it was 4 degrees so with wind chill more like 2 degrees and it was fine. but I would not be going out in colder then that. My hands were not cold but just borderline warm but that is cold for a bike. Any colder then that you would want much bulkier gloves but then you lose the tactile grip.,
No cutting tubes that MAY void warranty on a new bike. Also, I prefer that the oil does not flow under 30Kph as set on my unit anything over 30KPH and oil flows again. X system oil flows once bike has started regardless of if you are moving.
I think the bikes aerodynamics suffer at high speed no matter what screen you have. Back boxes also influence the dynamics. I have found no more or less forces even at high speed then I get normally. Its very adjustable so it covers all the basis and on a rainy day it totally stops rain hitting you. Im 6ft 1 and very very little wind gets me when set high. Best thing I bought for the bike tbh.
Congrats on the bike fella, is it the new gen 3 model? Or the gen 2 like mine...but the oiler has been flawless and working very well. Highly recommend.
Lovely video, As a sligo man must point out im pretty sure its in sligo, not that thats a big deal as it is very close to donegal.... great place all of donegal bay is. Would recommend to any tourist , so many lovely beaches and donegal people are really friendly
very stunning cinematics, enjoyed watching this video :D Bective Abbey is so beautiful and our kinda thing :) thanks so much for sharing! Liked and subbed to you :D
Yes they might get through it with an angle grinder but it’s going to be a noisy job then there’s the immobiliser to deal with if you’re that keen then good luck it’s insured
2 seconds with a battery powered angle grinder, and chuck it as hard as you can. That's what a thief will do to circumvent your silly lock and alarm. I hope you didn't pay more than a dollar for it because your bike is long gone. Now it would be a good decoy to Fool a thief if it triggered your GPS and called the cops sending them your GPS data.. if it can't do that, it's not worth having.
Ya think....Of course an angle grinder will cut a disc lock, that is not the point of a disc lock. Its a deterrent nothing more nothing less and part of your overall security. I use two disc locks and an Alamx chain and squire lock when locking my bike. So if with an angle grinder it will take alot of time and more importantly alot of noise.
@@bik3-spurt776 Those angle grinders go through thick chains like a hot knife to butter in seconds. The deterrent only works for normal people not hard core thieves who steal bikes for a living. I just think it's sad there aren't better products out there.
Great review. I’ve go the handroid IV pods which I really like. Very confidence inspiring. I picked them up second-hand but unused for €120 then shipped from the USA to South Vietnam where they are my daily gloves. So they are decent in hot and humid weather. I posted on you RST glove review that the SPS system is patented. I didn’t know it had ended but it seems other manufacturers are avoiding using 2 TPU palm sliders. I think 2 is best since the heel of the palm is vulnerable to impacts too. Not just the outer edge of the palm.
Actually, kevlar is just a trademark for DuPont’s para-aramid. So, generic p-aramids should be the same as DuPont’s. Aramids can in woven, knit, double knit, loop-knit and fleece. KP means “knuckle protection” on the label. They are optional on level 1. Obligatory on level 2. There are very, very few level 2 gloves because it’s hard to pass the seam test so most manufacturers don’t bother. I own some RST winter gloves. I don’t like the lack of 2 palm sliders. I’ve also got some Handroid mk IV pods. The short version. Knox has a patent on 2 TPU sliders so that’s why you don’t see 2 palm sliders on RST’s gloves. They don’t want to pay the patent or license the SPS sliders on the Knox.
why do I feel that those 4 screws attaching rack on the bike is accessible easily when top-case is installed and locked... basically just get a spanner and unscrew those 4 screws from side and run away with top case ad rack... voilla...
You dont even have to do that, the main locking mechanism is faulty. Even when locked you can pull the lock towards you and turn it very easily. Huge product default and is like that on 5 boxes the dealer checked when I complained about mine. Got rid of the Touratech and got the Givi out trekker and its a much better top box
@@bik3-spurt776 thanks for reply... these companies generally buy their locks and hinges from 3rd party, I wonder what made them chose an inferior part and compromise their own product.... btw, I do like your accent... boike...
You will be fine in a light shower but they are essentially a summer glove. You can get winter gloves with the knox sliders but not the exoskeleton. If you want a brilliant alround glove, one of my favorites is the Held Air n Dry Glove.
