Its called muscle memory and not all skilled ppl are meant to be teachers. My mentor says if you want to truly master your craft you must master the ability to teach it to others. Teaching people gives you a different level of understanding and helps you look at your craft through the eyes of others
Yes skin is skin but it is harder to get the colors of the tattoo to pop out on darker skin. I mean this as in some artists don't know what colors to use for melanated skin.
As an artist i try to understand not all yall are savvy with colorblending. We are not just one color, we are a rainbow of different shades just like everything in the world. The blues and greens were not blasted on. They did the version of tattoo blending to add depth and more realism to the face with the multitude of colors that make us who we are. Beautiful work
