There is only one sub registrar office in Mahadevapura, please search on google map. And, you would get the form there only.

7 days is minimum duration of stay. But, you can reach out to them and ask for the charges.

For seven days stay: 1500 pp including all meals and complimentary yoga - including taxes.

Sorry to hear that..that’s strange. There are a couple of people who commented in this video that it went smooth for them after following the said process. You definitely have to pay extra - that’s the truth but in my case it was 600 700 but 4K is way too much.

It’s not that you submit the form and come back home. If you have everything ready, you just go there and they would register your marriage and give you the certificate same day.

Just ensure that witnesses are local and they mention their address and sign it for you. In my case they were okay for not bringing them to the registrar office.

Marriage registrar office is not common for all. It depends where in the city you live. Search on Google and visit tge nearest one.

For that, search in Google for the nearest sub registrar office. Even if it is not for you, they would tell you where to go. That's what I did 😀

Sep 2019. But recently somebody commented here that he followed the exact process and got it done too. So, I don't think much would have changed since then.

1. We booked through MMT. One thing that was mentioned in the video and I am reiterating again is - ensure the total fare includes taxes. Speedboat will be paid at the hotel itself. You don't get transfer to maafushi from bandos, you need to get back to male and take the speed boat or local ferry to maafushi. For water activities - I would suggest you the local island. But do check with the hotel as well and compare the charges with independent service providers. If the difference is less than 10$ for each ticket than take it from hotel. They pack your lunch as well. One last thing, wherever you go book half board.

Even I was looking for online marriage registration but it was not there - you might see a lot of misleading videos available online but no. It's not a big deal to get it done offline but Covid is the problem.

Well, I don't think it's a big deal. I would suggest you to visit sub-registrar office that you anyway have to go to collect the form and there you talk to the office boy. He will tell you the possible solution and you can take care of his chai-paani ;) (on the day you go there to submit your documents). He will tell you the solution or you can get one printed online with back dates and submit it there. It's no big deal, seriously.

Maine apne experience ke basis par yeh video banayi hai - if you and the bride is hindu and one of you can present the local (Bangalore) address proof along with other documents that I have mentioned in the video - yes, you can get your marriage registered even if you are from andhra or any other state.

If you are going to get your marriage registered, done as per hindu rituals and both of you are hindu - then you need only those documents that I have mentioned in the video. Nothing to worry about just go to the office with all the documents as mentioned in the video and check with the office boy - it will be taken care.

See, getting married in court is different than obtaining marriage certificate. In court marriage, you actually get married in the court. However, obtaining a marriage certificate or getting marriage registered is for those who are already married and just want the document as a proof of their marriage. Later process is very easy and can be done in a day or two, provided you have all the proofs of your marriage, as explained in the video. In court marriage, first you have to take an appointment and give notice of one month. Then you go to the court with lawyer, witnesses, and with a small ceremony, get married there in the court itself.

Both of you must go together to sign on the forms in the presence of the officer.

That was my first approach but there was no process to get it registered online that time. I am not sure if it's there now. I would suggest you to visit your nearby sub registrar office to confirm else they would explain you how to do it offline.
