hi there, can i ask your thought process behind the timing of when you pop your EC?( maxroll says to pop it every other roation but i realized u sometimes pop it within 1 rotation). Also i realized sometimes u would send ur RoC and WW only for your sweeping kick, maybe can you elaborate on how your thought process behind your rotations?
@@isaakjacob6959 if the boss is about to leave or I trigger a quick recharge it’s fine to pop EC within one rotation usually. Sweeping kick is the highest damaging skill other than EC of the rotation so you will always send that first. Sometimes you can’t finish your rotation so you can only send SK within the buff window. You can make up for it on your other skills with the atk buff from SSB tho.
entropy , but still swift/crit or something change ?? i'm playing 2 nightmare/4dominion but i see a lot of white number thinking of changing to entropy or hallucination (1605ilvl) , kinda looking for advice
You could go a cheap 5x3+1, but I would not advise going Adr 3 especially on Entropy, since it already has naturally high crit rate. You might be able to make a 5x3+2MI build with dom or nm build but I'm not sure if that's an actual increase in damage.
Hey, i have being asking in WD discord and everyone says that 4dom2nm is highest ceiling damage, but i just dont think so, i think that 6entro is higher and even 6nm too, have u ever tried all of them? I actually enjoy the entropy gameplay and i saw that u have that build you have a build video or something?
6nm is technically probably the highest parse in trixion. I think 4dom2nm and entropy both have a pretty similar parse as well, dom might be higher but needs higher uptime than entropy to achieve similar results. I think my entropy build is at the end of one of my entropy parses or frog runs.
it's not that bad tbh, I usually only hit addiction if a boss phases into a mech or a set of really bad patterns etc. There are also some moments where you might want to hit addiction because you want to squeeze the highest hitting dpc before the boss phases.
i was thinking on making a wardancer when braker comes but i cant decide if i make eso or fi!!then i found your videos and i think i go for FI. I hate dominion so i will try entropy, and since 5 of my 6 chars are back attack (i mained db striker then i switched to slayer), guess back attack isnt really a problem. As a new wd player, do you think its fine fi, or do you suggest eso for new wd players?thx in advance
You could also try out 6 nm FI crit or swift heavy if c+j is the issue with dom builds for you. I think entropy FI is fine if are comfortable back attacking. If you make the wd with the new powerpass you will get the option to try both FI and eso on 5x3 builds and can decide after some practice which one is more for you :)

Maybe, I think FI entropy pulls ahead if they have the Varkan set equipped but without it eso should be similar damage and also easier to pull off in this particular fight.
I prefer 6 Entropy more because I only played 2/2/2 build before the patch, which was also a back attack build. 6 Dom runs out of mana too often but I would recommend 4 Dom 2 NM to most FI players unless they are fine with maintaining at least ~70% back attack rate on their main damaging skills.

I'm 4 Dom 2 NM 1627.5 and get about 25/26 in trixon so comparing that to what you are pulling seems reasonable BUT on frog, I think best I can pull is around 30 mill at best .. how does it differ so much where at worst you are still probably getting over 40 mill? Just trying to understand while I prepare a entropy set too ! Wanted your input/advise on that. Thank you!
IMO Entropy will be ceiling in practice due to the nature of how its damage is distributed - huge burst every 10 or so seconds which fits in atro and support buff windows quite efficiently. The secret to parsing high with any of the dom variants is super high uptime, which may not be as feasible in some raids. I think with a 25/26m parse you should be able to parse mid ~40m in frog if you have a good support and good uptime. Remember that you are a conventional swiftness class - meaning that you need to greed every damage window you can to be competitive with bursty/high end damage classes. Every second matters, and especially for dom - make sure you maximize your EC damage within buff windows etc.
@@itspants_ It also depends a bit on your other DPS. If you want to do 40m+ on frog, you have to kill it before it does the "leave" phase. Otherwise, there's a massive DPS loss afterwards. That means your other party members need to do enough damage to make sure it dies before that.
Man it's crazy how much more damage you do - I can only get 18m DPS on 2nm4dom First Intention on Wardancer - makes me feel like I'm doing something wrong so videos like these are nice ty
I should try Entropy FI aswell ^^ i already loved playing FI, but before the Patch it was rly just a walkin crit syn.. After Patch i played 6 Dom FI but i hate that c/j playstyle so i went back to eso.. maybe ill go try Entropy when i finish my Critical Set this week^^ only got Master yet
So basicaly, you gain a "little" more dps overall :x Many people tells me to switch to eso because my character is still "recent" but I have more fun with FI
