I’m in Iowa. Hardly ANY red signs up and blue is coming back! No issues that I’ve heard of. Our signs are fine. I have paper signs taped in my new car (no bumper stickers 😂, it’s new!) but my car is fine as well. Iowa is now a toss up state, Kamala has made up 16 points and is now within the margin of error. I have poll worker training (again) tomorrow night. I find it fascinating that in my district, every one of the poll workers lean democrat and we’re still a lean right district 🤯. I guess republicans can’t be bothered with working the polls. We’ll be ready.

Since the early 80s I have lived my life with compassion and when I came across less enlightened people I just took the high road and let them travel their journey, not sit in judgement or try to change them. Focused on living my life and choosing positive reactions to negative happenings in my life. It was draining and took all of my effort to be here now and let others live and let live even if they were racist misogynist xenophobic homophobic people. And now I'm done. I walked my lesson for 40 years and I'm done. I can find some compassion if I sit with it and it's not a specific person. But I have none for them in general that couldn't rise to the occasion of keeping their communities safe during covid and didn't care if they killed me and my family with covid. I'm over it. I can't. That may blow my karma or lesson or whatever. But I can't. Maybe one day.
