I was in one pretty hi speed accident top of 4th on my cr250. Washed out flew down a hill and landed on my neck twice while tumbling. Walked away from it sore. My shoulder was bruised ( i dont bruise easily at all ) and im pretty confident if i didnt have the brace i could have broke or injured my neck. For pros where its there job and not having it could make you faster. I understand. But i think amatuers should wear them
I thank my life to neckbrace, hit small rock in main straight going about 60mph of so. Come straight on my back hitting my head. The carbon fibre of the brace just broke in half, that would have been my neck.
