hey, how did you get the stairs like that? I urgently need a longer one down but every time I want to put the second stairs in place, wood immediately falls to the floor. 🥴
It's been a while since I've played, but I think I recall that happening when there wasn't enough support for the structure...so maybe adding a wall and trying to delete it after the stairs are finished would work?
I've only been playing it for a week, I totally missed the release for PS5. 😅🤦♀️ I managed to do it with the stairs but I have no idea how, and it didn't work with a wall. 🫣

It's really rough at the game's beginning, before extended stamina is earned/unlocked through upgrading the town. If you think it's fine, that's great...I was merely stating my opinion in this video.
Also if you think animal experimentation is bad: I keep track of the animals I need to sell off by renaming them “sell123” making it easier to shove them all at Hayden 😂 he’s got so many baby animals of mine with no real names
That's so funny, because I named a few "sell later" and then just starting using the random name generator for those I knew I wouldn't keep. I have so many animals named Pancake, Peep, Bo, and Felix. 🤣

Shouldn't have watched this after work, I was not prepared for the test. Good that you explained it, but it gave serious school memories. I'll probably have some dreams now about forgetting school supplies while running late for class. Very thorough guide, very well done. MY favorite colors were the skeleton animals, mainly because that desaturated darker blue is my favorite color.

@@BuckeyeBunny Yueh my sister told me about the duck. Also, I found someone on Reddit who had the same problem and one of the replies was you could make a mixture for that I forget what they're called I'm still using one tube and more focused on getting Friends to help so I'm less stressed running the bath house.
I have been obsessed with this game since I downloaded it. So far, my biggest struggle is fishing. I can’t figure out how to use the lures! The wiki needs a lot of help. lol.
Wait, did they change the fishing? I haven't had time to play this past week, but there was NO fishing game, just press the reel button when the text said the fish was biting.
I think you can have 11 townies other than the 2 mandatory ones at the moment if you don't give one of the townies a house. That's currently my situation - picked up Buck earlier in my playthrough and literally right after I gave him a tent, he acted like a bully. Welp, no house for you, buddy! I get to my 11th townie (Lesley), she chose a house, and after a storm I looked around for more shipwrecked critters and found none seem to be spawning anymore. EDIT: So I think I was just glitched lol. The places I checked before posting this didn't have anyone, but when I got back to town there were two random Critters floating in mid air where the tourist ship docks. Checked another island and found another shipwrecked person. Also, Buck is eyeing a new house. There may have been an update that added new homes since this video. Anyways awesome tips. Was confused as to how to get a sea veggie farm going and this put me on the right path. +1 sub

I've only played a bit on the Deck (because I like my big monitor, lol), but there are many people in their Discord who play Critter Cove on Steam Deck exclusively. It's not yet verified, but it should be fine. 😊
I know I found some in the caves underneath Boomerang Island ( I think that's the one ) and also around some shipwrecks like the one north of the main island.
I really love that crafting pulls from storage. And hearing that there’s no curfew is icing on the cake. I hate having to cut an activity short to run home to bed to avoid any penalties for not sleeping and passing out. Will have to give this game a go
2:23 I think the dinosaur thing was an April fool's trick. I'm really looking forward to this game as well! I just hope they won't forget the actual gameplay over all the customization etc. they've shown us.
Really??!! 🤣🤣 I think you might be right...that was an updated posed on their Steam page on April 1st. 🤦♀️ I feel silly not realizing this, but the extent to which they created detailed content and graphics made it seem like a legit plan. And let's be honest, they DO have some crazy things planned for the game. Thanks for the tip. 😊

There are a few missions that made me want to cry. 🤣 But the others are pretty chill once you get better gear and learn to bring multiple trucks with you. ♥
You cant evict them? I got a computer critter called reboot and even tho i love his name i dont like him at all. I want him out ;/ and no i could not deny him to live on critter Cove
Not yet, but the devs said this feature is coming in future updates. I have a couple I want to kick out too (cough cough...POKEE!!). 🤣 So you could revert to an older save file if you REALLY want to give Reboot the boot. 😊
my tip is that you can put a bed almost anywhere on the home island i have one on the floor of the workshop next to the steps, you can also place hammocks anywhere to and can use them as beds around the island as well so if your worried about only sleeping in your house to get thru the night dont, no one will judge your sleeping spots... well except maybe pokee also you can get rusty tanks from ruined balloon stands randomly (0-3) per cart
Glad you also enjoy FT. :) I don't know for sure, but I think the team is focusing on FT2 and probably won't do much to their original title from here on out.
