Sah mehrere solche Kämpfe,wenn es mir möglich war ,trennte ich die Kämpfer, besonders dann,wenn der Kampf entschieden war und die Prügelei in Quälerei ausartete... Diese schweren Vögel verausgaben sich völlig beim Revierkampf,der Besiegte hat oft keine Energie mehr zur Flucht und läuft Gefahr,vom Sieger zu Tode malträtiert ,im Wasser ertränkt zu werden... Manche Leute fantasieren von einer Vergewaltigung, aber das ist völliger Quatsch, das ganze hat mit Sex NULL zu tun...
Best time of year for seeing them. Parent birds come to lawns with ants nests, and show 1 or 2 offspring how to feed themselves. We used to see them regularly where I used to live. Nice 'capture' Carl.👍🏻
