I love plants, flowers, trees, and nature in general. One of my favorite things is to learn about how to specifically take care of these things. I have hundreds of plants and flowers and love to share the experiences and knowledge I have learned with them over the years. And also the research I have done for new plants that I have welcomed to my plant family!
Beautiful plant! I just bought one from a nursery and I can tell it was stressed. So after listening to you I’ve decided to wait to separate it, I do not want to stress it more. Thank you.
It is! Yes I have some other types of calatheas I just divided. They are doing ok. But they have to have super high humidity & watched closely after dividing in the first 2-3 weeks
I have a cutting of the Maculata in Pearl light and water right now. I'm hoping for it to get roots so I can pot it up. My boyfriend has the original plant, hoping to keep them both alive.
Omg I am so glad that I found this propagation and your info, I have been going for two days long and can’t find right one like I yours. Thank you for making this video
Let us know how you take care of it and if it’s a slow grower as they say. Mine one not a slow grower, at least right now (in winter) grew an inch in 2months.
I love them. I got 2 of anthurium cutucuense. They are pretty cool plants and not hard to take care if you live in UK as they love cool to cold temperatures and high humidity. My house is very humid so I have to have dehumidifier nearly at all times but where I keep these plants I keep room door shut so stays in high humidity. Humidity is around 70-80% and loves breeze so my windows are open(if it’s not freezing outdoors). Really beautiful plant and super rare.
I've been wondering why one tall leaf had a brown underside while all my other leaves did not. Spores!!! Thank you so much for solving that mystery. Curious how to propegate this plant.
Yes! Started using this a month ago & I've already noticed a difference in my calathea. I wish more people knew about this. It's definitely cost effective. Especially when you have a large plant collection.
I have a lot of plants and I’m buying filtered water so I’m need this solution, but I need one I add the conditioner I need to wait or directly water my plants
