Typically, if you’re going to use other people’s images and use them in a video like this, most people would assume it to be correct to ask for permission first, no?
I did ask the original photographer for permission one didn’t respond which I remove in this version and for videos I did also ask for video permission from Grant Dennington and Ron Dunn for a later version
@@SouthernerFloridain2006, I’m more specifically talking about me. Too late now, you never asked me, but you’ve already made the video. Thanks for the credit at least.
I double check each photo to be sure which is correct owner I have a memory issue which is I had a list to ask you were on the list I just forgot to ask
Nice video, is there any way you could show more of that video of SOU #6133 or maybe even that dvd of 722 on the Southern that is shown in the beginning of the video?
6133 video is from "All that's Green and Gold" from Mainline Motion Pictures along with the footages ive plan to show more I have ask permission which I try to find more the 6133 footage is on Grant Dennington Channel on YT along with crescent footage the 722 footage of DVD is Very rare only footage from 100 Steam Locomotives DVD by MLMP and the 1:30 clip that's publicly on Insta and Here. planned a updated version with more images and Video.
Very nice! I have to ask, what's the source for the picture at 1:39? I've never seen that, but it's very nice! If you can share it though, I'd greatly appreciate it!
Not bad dude! However, if I may make one criticism, you're stumbling over your words a bit. I'd encourage you to either go off of a script, or if you are, rehearse your script a couple of times. Keep at it! The more you practice, the better you get!

This is cool, I'm a native of the state she currently resides in (North Carolina) and I've visited the GSMR 4 times, the most recent being on July 30th of this year, where I saw an operational standard gauge steam locomotive for the first time. I've since heard the GSMR will be restoring her, and this time to run on oil. It does kind of ruin the locomotives history, but it makes sense when you remember that 1, the railroad is in the vicinity of a National Park, and 2, it's more efficient than coal, but to be honest, I wouldn't give a darn, I just want to see it run again, if so, I'll be satisfied.
I am proud to announce that after a 23 year wait Restoration has finally begun. So far GSMR has announced that: 1. 722 will be converted to oil burning 2. She will keep her green paint scheme 3. She will be in steam by 2026
I’ve heard rumors that when MrBeast bought and wrecked the GSMR’s GP7’s (one of which is actually in this video), all the money from the purchase went specifically towards 722’s restoration.
I wonder whatever happened to all the library JMJ Productions had? I remember having videos and seeing ads from deep in the 1980's and forward. So hard to find any of it anymore.
Her headlight bracket is different here it’s similar to the one that 630 and 4501 wear but I couldn’t find any pictures of her with it so I’m guessing she just had it while she was at TVRM because when she was put in Asheville her original headlight bracket was returned
I personally really hope GSMR gets to restoring 722. Ks1s are such beautiful but rare beasts. Not only are they pretty strong for their size, but they can look good in green or black
Hey I want Southern Railway 722 to operate again and I want it to be all black just like Southern Railway 630 and Southern Railway 4501 so that way the will be reunited and get in to a picture from a good old start and into a good new start for the new adventures of the three locomotives
@@TexasRailfan21-RailfanRyan it’s original Number is 1960 through 1970 because it’s originally a L&N Big Emma Tender, The Onlything I know it’s just title “SOUTHERN W.T 53” and it’s currently used behind MLW 261 without the Coal Bunker on it.
Three rivers rambler IMHO would be better since she has more history running there. Also, the shay they are restoring actually is a sister to Spencers 1925. Also ex graham county rr
The 722 has been in the hands of GSMR for 22 years. This locomotive is in horrible condition due to being left out in the weather for 22 years. I will quote the late master mechanic of Southern Railway Mr. Bill Purdie. The weather is horrible on a steam locomotives, they can’t be left outside to the elements. If GSMR doesn’t plan to restore 722 then at least send her to someone who wants to restore this locomotive.
That’s a Fair Quote but you can try to tell the owners of GSMR, American Heritage Railways that and they might say they have 722 in good condition they say from the last time I called them but that’s just lie
GSMR has probably with its owner American Heritage Railways which they control the D&S and GSMR due to covid and wildfires it likely there just going to sell it or trade or give etc or even put it on display in Bryson or back in Asheville
