Sorry to hear that…so you know exactly how I felt. 😩 Trying to match paint on these classic cars is almost impossible from what I hear. I’m told they will often need to spray one whole side of the car in order to get it to blend correctly. In my case I was never really happy with the paint job that I got on the car. I was always thinking of having it redone, now I have an excuse. 😅 Since yours is just a drill hole If you take it to a really good paint shop, they may be able to fix that and Bend the paint to just that small area in without it being noticeable.
That sucks about your rear quarter panel. I have a Gold 67 Impala SS 396 Convertible. It will be going to the body shop this summer to fix a hole that I accidently drilled through the passenger door. I was installing new weatherstripping on the inside of the door and had to drill holes along the top in order to screw it to the door and I lost my concentration and did not realize that the drill bit had gone through the section and was now drilling through the door. The paint job is very good and I hope I can find a shop that will be able to repair it and blend the paint. Your Impala looks great.
You got a great car there, I've got a hard top caprice with 327. Keep it old school much better, also put in 700rR automatic much better on gas . Also don't ever sell that car!! Cheers from NZ
They are out of a 2015 Camaro, no major modifications just mad some small brackets to shift the driver’s seat over so it’s centered with the steering wheel. And cut the tabs off the rails so they sit flat. Check my other video out on it.
Hello sir, I'm a new subscriber here. I'm sorry to hear about whatever health issues you are dealing with, I personally know how that is being 65 years of age and shoutout to you for putting out that message for guys to get themselves checked out if the think or feel something wrong.
Hello sir!! The 862 and 706 heads are the same. 2 different manufacturers from my understanding. The 706 heads have a tendency to crack down in the head bolt holes. She is looking very nice. I am doing a Ls3/6L90e swap in a 03'Crown Vic Police Interceptor with my grandsons. My first swap but not my first engine.
I am working on my first swap as well. Ls3/6L90E in a 03'Crown Vic Police Interceptor. Not my first engine tho lol. I've done probably way too much research. You know too much information. Makes it hard to make a decision lol. Making videos are a lot of fun lol.
One more thing go with the 4.11 gears I did 373 with my 4l60e and boy it was nice but I ended up blowing the 4l60e and got a 4l80e and the gearing is different now I need 4.11 🤦🏾♂️
For you catch can it's best to get one that has the filter on top also. And that 102 throttle body is crap they make a lot of noise. Get the fitec 92 or 102 throttle body it doesn't leak and it feels much better while driving.
U GOT URSELF A NEW SUBSCRIBER!!!!looking good!!! I love how u didnt go a cheap "quick" route..patience is progress!!!...lovin the garage build!!!!! NEW MEXICO LOVE!!!!!!!
I did it with out removeing the dash cluster u can reach up under the dash n get them in the plastic circuit board, only thing if u use leds they have to go in positive n negative so if it dont light up take it out turn it put it back in each bulb has 2 terminals n it goes in a plastic houseing that goes into the circuit plastic on the back its alot easier than u think theres no need to take anything apart.
I have the same problem with the lens on my 67 i want to do the same thing badass idea looks way better , how did you cut the plexiglass with a hole saw ? Or jigsaw ? , and did you put any type of silcon to hold it in place ?
