The MD 9272 current clamp has different current ranges, from 40 mA and up to 100 A. With the selection of the current range 40 mA, it is possible to measure current in the range of mA (with resolution of 0.01 mA).

The A2214 is a good idea badly executed as it is not practical to use it on some sites due to the lead lengths being too short and risks damaging the test meter. And the bigger problem is Metrel UK won't take the feedback onboard

The MI 3360 OmegaGT XA you have just purchased also meets the new standards. You may have to update the FW version to get the latest features (you can check for FW updates via the MESM software). The only testing application that is not covered by the MI 3360 OmegaGT XA is testing of EV cables, everything else can be tested using the MI 3360 OmegaGT XA, but for some applications an external adapter (A 1789 Single Fault Condition Adapter) may be needed.
Hi, the first step mentioned in the clip was to disconnect AC side - it's OK. But then, I'd rather disconnect the jumper first to be 100% sure that there is no short circuit current on DC side. Actually i thought it's pure Isc running on DC side while jumper is in the position ON and inverter AC side is OFF. BTW, one connector in the DC fuse has some visible burn signs - for me it's a no-go.

Buenos dias, desde LIMA- PERÚ, podrian mejorar la calidad del estuche o funda, es muy pesimo y suave no protege para nada el equipo, igual pasa con el modelo anterior la funda no tiene ni el logo de la marca metrel, si uno va comprar un equipo de biena calidad minimo que sea todo de calidad hasta los cables de prueba parecen muy básicos. POR OTRO LADO SUS EQUIPOS SON MUY BUENOS YO TENGO EL EQUIPO MULTIFUNCION MI 3155 Y ES MUY BUENO, quiero complementsrlo con la pinza de fugas 9273 pero mejoren un poco la calidad de sus accesorios a comparación con otras marcas. MI 3155 loads the circuit with 1 A at 10 kHz, which could be traced along circuit wires by R10k optional accessory. There are several options to trace the signal. A bigger tracing coil is mounted on top of R10k, suitable for the deep in-wall search of wires and cables. There is another option to connect a small tracing coil as an option on the back side connector of R10k, suitable for tracing wires within the switchboards and control gears. Adjust the level filter on r10k by using a potentiometer.
Another tip - in case you need to increase the tracing possibilities, to make the signal spread on longer distances around the circuit, try to generate the signal between two conductors or similar.. BUT TAKE CARE OF THE SURROUNDING, CLEAR THE AREA, PROTECT SURROUNDING - you actually generate 1 A to another cable or the ground.. Where RCD is mounted it could trip out. This method could be used only by experienced professionals who are aware of potentially dangerous situations in such cases. The benefit of the method is many times the only possible way in situations with buried underground cables etc.

Yes, you can connect a multimeter using the banana sockets, while the oscilloscope can be connected using the dedicated BNC connector. You can consult the A 1532 or A 1632 instructional manual for more information about EVSE testing.
